Everything up to the sale was fine. My salesman, Lamar, was great. I was happy with the deal. But the service after the sale has been terrible. I traded in my vehicle for the payoff amo My salesman, Lamar, was great. I was happy with the deal. But the service after the sale has been terrible. I traded in my vehicle for the payoff amount. The finance guy, Chad, told me that Crain would just make the payoff for me. So I assumed that I was done with the car I traded in. Crain owned it now. But a week later, the bank I financed my old car through drafted my monthly payment from my bank account like they always do. Crain didn’t pay it off and didn’t inform me that there would be delay in paying it off. So I had a nearly $600 payment taken out that I wasn’t expecting. And because I wasn’t expecting it, I hadn’t moved money into that account to cover it. So I also had a $35 overdraft fee. I tried to contact Chad twice to find out what was going on but couldn’t get a callback. I finally contacted Leisa Morrison and she has been helping. She has kept me updated on getting reimbursed for that payment. But because of extra interest accrued, the reimbursement isn’t going to be as much as the payment that came out of my account for that payment. Add to that the overdraft fee, this is going to cost me about $60 and there has been no offer to add that to the reimbursement payment. On top of that, I was told that they won’t send the reimbursement check until they receive the title from the bank. I see absolutely no reason why I should have to wait for that. I was told it was “policy”. At any rate, for the last couple of weeks I’ve been out over $600 because of Crain Kia of Conway. I believe I’ll get most of that back but I deserve to get all of it. In fact, it never should have happened and there seems to be very little sense of urgency to fix it. More
