Good Morning, My name is Sue Folsom and I manage the Business Development Center here at Criswell Automotive. Our dealerships participate in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program and we are committed to providing high quality customer service. Based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very dissappointing to us and, through this program, we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at the dealership. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you to resolve any outstanding issues.

Hello Sue, Thank you for your sincere inquiry. It was quite an experience to say the least. I was very understanding that the factory order got put in wrong (Phase I) and I like I said, I was even ok with taking an alternate package since there were few Latitudes to choose from. However, again, I felt each phase of the process was met with unnecessary dishonesty, coercion, avoidance, hastiness, aggression and name calling (in front of my face I was called the 'crazy lady' to off-site installers) all in wanting to get a car and a minor adjustment to my heated seats. I afforded the Sales Manager, Alex Toueg, an opportunity to fix some of my concerns (Phase II) and I was rebuffed. He was very brash, rude and told my salesman that he didn't want to talk to me because his word was final- NO!. All over a $200 fix and they wondered why I gave them a negative review on my survey. I was humiliated all the way around and had to pay for the $200 for seat alteration on top of the $500 I spent for the option in the initial contract. Eventually they admitted I was the guinea pig for aftermarket installation for the Latitude. Lucky me! I guess that was an apology of an admission of an error on there part for the lack of full disclosure on what to expect. In Phase III, the F&I guy there (I forget his name but he was Asian) didn't want to go over the numbers with me and when I was contemplating going with my credit union who was offering a lower rate instead, he actually said "just sign it already" and pushed the pen and document at me. It was upsetting, but I had to laugh at how infantile he was acting. I this point I just wanted to leave and knew I could fix the financing later if I needed to. Yet another opportunity for optimism, until the delivery of my vehicle. As standard procedure, sales will get you acquainted with the functions of the vehicle. I was told,"It's a Jeep, what more do you need to know. All of this stuff is pretty basic- radio, heated seats, navigation, steering wheel controls and UConnect option, call if you have any questions". In 2 mins that was the delivery of my brand new vehicle. Needless to say, that was one of many straws that broke my back. Within a week or so, I was calling my credit union to get refinanced, that's how much I felt they didn't deserve my loan. When I went back into the dealership to fill out the form to have GAP and the Ext Wrrnty cancelled (Phase IV) I thought it would be handled. So after 3-4 weeks in, I followed up to make sure it was in the process. I contacted Mike Cohen who said he never received any paperwork on the cancellation. Luckily I took a snapshot of my filled out form, with the date, along with the finance guy's business card I gave it to (Dan Leithauser). Mike apologized profusely for the misstep and sent the paperwork in right away- that was the only silver lining in this transaction. As a service member who is currently a wounded warrior, rehabilitating at Walter Reed from a spinal cord injury, PTSD and a traumatic brain injury I sustained recently in both Iraq and Afghanistan this was the last thing I needed upon returning stateside and needing a vehicle. No matter what, we all deserve professionalism, but when you know someone has already had physical hardships, especially from war, chose your dealership over 5 other recommendations by USAA, went from a $18,000 car I could have driven off the lot that night to a $30,000 vehicle I would have initially had to wait for, AND the still choosing to finance with Chrysler despite all challenges- I'd have to say the professionalism and appreciation for someones business needs to be kicked up a notch. I wasn't in there to waste anyones time or cause waves, I was more than respectful and understanding but didn't get that in return. Okay- you asked how you could resolve any issues. What are my options? I really don't know. I'd just like some closure so I'm really open to any above and beyond suggestions. I do appreciate your apology, so thank you very much. I'm just afraid that since the sell is complete, it's water under the bridge. Due to the lengthy complications and dissatisfaction I left a good portion of this of the Dealer Rate review, but I wanted to fill the gaps in for you a little bit so you can have a better idea of how to address this situation. I really don't want others to experience what I went through, isolated case or not.

Thank you so much for your reply and taking the time to share the details. Can I get your name, a phone number or an email address so that I can pull your deal jacket and do some further research? I would greatly appreciate that. I'm not sure what the options are at this point either, but I would like to look into this further and make some suggestions. Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
