Criswell Honda

I was initially very anxious about buying a new car. I hadn't bought a new car since 1997 and I'd also just had a negative experience buying a lemon from another dealer, which added to my anxiety. Still, I needed a car, I wanted another Civic and Victor Castro came highly recommended by my boyfriend and his mother, father and sister, who all own Hondas they bought from Victor! My boyfriend called the dealership, but Victor was off, so he emailed Victor. Victor called him that day - on his day off - to set up an appointment for the following day. He then called and spoke with me. Talking with him put me at ease and I began to look forward to this formerly stress-inducing process. Victor was wonderfully helpful, kind and had a good sense of humor - all of which put me further at ease. He was also incredibly fair and helpful with the pricing and after I'd decided to buy, showed me around the dealership so I will know exactly what to do and where to go should my car need service or parts. He even made sure I know where the bathroom is, which seems like a little thing, but I appreciated that thoroughness. After we finished in the business office, which was another pleasant experience (thank you, Mahaman Kolo!), Victor gave me another tour of sorts of my new vehicle to get me acquainted with the features before I left. I went home feeling like I'd made a new friend and happened to get a great deal on a great car in the process. More

Then when the car we wanted to test drive was being purchased by another couple, he took our information to keep an eye on what other used cars might come in that we would like to consider. An hour later he called to say the others dropped out, so we went back and made the purchase. He took great care of us. More

Great over all experience. I was given the price online and when asked about the trade-in, I was not promised anything and was told they will look at the car and see if they can meet what Carmax had offere and when asked about the trade-in, I was not promised anything and was told they will look at the car and see if they can meet what Carmax had offered. At the dealership, there were no surprises. Everything was exactly the same as promised via email and the whole process was not painful. There was some push to purchase extended warranty but then the price of the warranty was very reasonable and nothing crazy. Definitely recommend this dealership to everyone. More

To Victor's credit, he spent the requisite time with my wife and I outlining not only the bells and whistles of the car but also the safety features that don't always get advertised. He and the crew at the dealership were able to offer a very competitive price - so much that I didn't feel the need to shop around at other dealerships. The facilities and support personnel there are top notch as well. The whole experience was much better than I expected and certainly more professional than some of the other non-Honda dealers I visited on my search. I would highly recommend Criswell Honda if you are in the market. More
