The deal almost broke down because of this manager. There was a small price difference between what I heard and what was written on the paper. He said, “ I did not change the price. If you are not happy about the price on the paper and want to call it off, I am fine with that.” And he turned around and walked away. It was a matter of $5/month. I never said that he changed the price, but since the price was different from what I heard, and since a lower price partially influenced my decision to take the car, I wanted to talk to them if they could honor the lower price given to me. I have every right to do so. At that point, it was after I had already paid $5530 for the downpayment. So, +$5/month wouldn’t have been a deal- breaker if he had not blown it off like that. But he did. Were it not for his colleagues, I would have walked away with no hesitation, not because of the price, but because of his attitude. I am leaving this review because his behavior was totally unprofessional. Honda, it is not just the sales person’s responsibility to treat consumers professionally. More
