We do apologize things didn't work out. We understand you are out of state trying to make a purchase over the phone/internet. As previously discussed, we don't typically hold used car vehicles as it is a "first come, first serve" policy. We had agreed to take a deposit, that was not processed and make the exception for you as you previously stated you'd come that weekend- that wasn't an assumption, however we understand things changed as your wife was unable to make it due to her work schedule and instead you wanted us to hold the vehicle for you for a week. Unfortunately, we are unable to do so as we typically require even for new vehicles that the vehicle be picked up withing 48hrs. We understand you had expenses to take care of as you would travel out of the state to pick this vehicle up as we don't arrange transportation of vehicles out of the state. I would have done everything I could to find a ticket if it were just me needed to sign papers. I clearly wouldn’t have purchased a plane ticket prior to confirming the vehicle was available and our APR was a decent number. I did say if my wife was needed it would be next week. Again, a normal person wouldn’t give a company $1000 and then decide to not show up. That’s a good amount of money in my world. Maybe I should have said $2500 to have y’all hold it for over a few hours. I mean it was Friday, you could have had the car sold on Wednesday but I guess that’s just ridiculous. Again, we drove to a dealership 5 hours a way and they held two vehicles for a few days with no deposit, shocking a dealership would do that for a customer. Everyone, if you’re shopping for a vehicle know there are MUCH better options out there. Dealerships that will hold a vehicle longer than a few hours for $1000 knowing you need to purchase plane tickets.
