I told him a SUV. He took me to the lot and show me a CRV. He even offered me to test drive the CRV. I told him we also wanted to trade in my old car. He quickly put things in his computer and got me an estimate for my trade in. While I told Larry we have to decide to go with the CRV or not, the Sales Manager came over and offered me a great price for the car. Unfortunately, my wife wanted a different car. I guessed I missed out on this chance to get the CRV w. very good price from DCH. More

Good deal. No gimmicks. Friendly and "good guys" Asked for internet quote for CRV lease. Of the 5, DCH gave me the best quote and was 2 of 5 dealers that didn't (or maybe they couldn't) do better than original quote. Indicative of putting their "best foot forward" from the start. Hedy Berger was my internet contact. I got an exceptional deal (by North NJ standards); probably very good/good deal by national standards. Hedy was always responsive and very clear in her response (don't know why it takes some dealers 1/2 day or more to get back). I'm very wary of dealers that say "X" but when you get to the dealership, they're like well, it's "X" but you also need to pay for "Y" and "Z". I asked Hedy if "X" was all that I had to pay, she confirmed and that was it. Had another dealer (located closer) that said they could match the deal but didn't like their demeanor and felt like they would end up being 'Y" + "Z" guys. Only issue/complaint I had (although it's not 100% DCH's fault) is that I had to do the deal on a Saturday. As Bergen County residents know, dealers are closed on Sunday. DCH Paramus is a volume seller. I was there around 11:30am. There was nothing to negotiate and I didn't do test drive but it still took me 3+ hours to complete everything (and it wasn't because I had credit or insurance issues). The problem is there are so many customers there (not sure if it's everyday but at least Saturday). More

Assistance provided to deal with Honda Care extended warrant Brian, the service advisor was able to work through the lack of assistance by Honda Care extended warranties denial of coverage of a O-ring defect. Brian then worked with American Honda to ensure that the vehicle was in proper working order. He secured a rental vehicle for my wife. Horrible customer service We went to DCH after getting a very good price over the phone using the Costco program. The employee we worked with spent most of the time away from his desk and us to discuss the terms of the deal with I suppose his manager. Then everything he said after proved they had no intention of honoring our deal. First, they said we would have to make another payment on our car we were turning in early. We said ok. Then, they said the deal would only be applicable if we picked a car on the lot. We did not want either of the two choices available. They refused to honor the deal we made on the phone if they had to get a car from another site. There was no mention of this stipulation on the phone. In the end, we walked out after spending nearly two hours at the salesman's desk by ourselves. More
