He listened to what we wanted - a test drive in the Camry LE and he acknowledged the research we had already done and didn't try to switch us up to the XLE or another car like other dealerships had. It was such a pleasant experience we decided to purchase the car that same day from Wappinger Falls rather than shop around other dealerships in the area. We were there for 4 hours (from test drive to driving out with our new car) and had our 7 year old with us too. The entire staff went out of their way to give her attention and make her comfortable and that really helped us out as well. We love our new car, thanks! More

For three weeks, my wife and I had been shopping for a hybrid vehicle. We had test driven several car makes at dealerships in our immediate area (Capital Region, NY) in order to make our decision (Ford, hybrid vehicle. We had test driven several car makes at dealerships in our immediate area (Capital Region, NY) in order to make our decision (Ford, Hyundai, Honda, and Toyota). Once we had come down chosen the Toyota Prius (Two model), we researched within our immediate area prices and colors of the available cars. At every juncture, we had been unsatisfied with the results- ignored by the dealer, received an uncompetitive price, asked us to come in before talking about price, or they had what we wanted on their site's inventory and later found out that the car wasn't on the lot. My wife was getting tired of the process and we almost bought a car out-of-state (which would have made things 10 times HARDER) until I had found DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota. I found their website after looking for Toyota dealers outside my area and took a look at their inventory and saw that they had the model and both colors that my wife and I wanted. After getting the go-ahead from my wife, I contacted them through online chat and got in touch with Anna Delany in their Internet Department. We had a short conversation online and she asked me to call her directly to discuss further about the vehicles. She provided me with an email with the price and an estimated appraisal of my trade-in. This was the ammunition I needed to finally get my wife to pull the trigger. That afternoon I had called Anna, gave her a deposit over the phone to make sure they had the vehicle we wanted, and told me that her Sales Manager was going to contact me for further info so that they could do as much of the paperwork as possible before coming down to Wappeingers Falls as it would be a two hour drive for me from the Capital Region. The next day, Michael Gottuso gave me a call and laid out to me in plain speak what he would need from me to get everything going. I let them know that I wasn't going to be looking at the two cars (two colors) and was going to just go for the RED one (due to lower insurance rates and I just love the color!). I sent over the paperwork, worked with them to get everything right plus when I was busy when they had called me back about when to come the next day- I called Michael directly on his cell after hours- he picked up his phone and let me know that he would call me back early the next morning with a better idea of when to come down. I found this dedication to his job even when he knew this was a sure sale. That Saturday (next) morning, Rich Schiro gave me a call to ask me where I was and I let him know that I was a bit away, but he told me the car should be ready to go by the time we got there. He offered me directions and even called when I was running a little late to make sure I didn't get lost on the way down. Once my wife and I got to the dealership, the DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota staff opened their dealership doors with smiles, let me look at my new shiny Prius, quickly fully appraised my trade-in, and gave me a fair figure that I could not refuse. While we were waiting for the final paperwork to be completed, Michael went over everything about our shiny new Prius, demonstrated its various bells and whistles, and even connected and tested the Bluetooth for both mine and my wife's phones. Rich helped us with the paperwork after the full car demonstration. I appreciated the fact that he offered us the options and additional items (warranty, maintenance, protection plans, etc) and wasn't as pushy as I have experienced before at other car dealerships. The entire transaction took us 3 hours at the dealership and my wife and I were happily on the way home. Even in the days afterward, Michael called me to see how we are doing with the Prius and made sure that I was happy with our purchase. Overall, I say cheers to Anna, Michael G., Rich, and all the staff at DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota to make my family's experience the easiest when it came to buying our first vehicle together! Even though I live in Albany, if I'm in the market for another Toyota, I would not hesitate to head downstate to Wappingers Falls to buy another vehicle from them again. Deena answered my emails immediately and before I knew it she had handed me over to Rob Schaffer who graciously took on the task of coordinating with my co-signer in California (not an easy task with three hour difference and busy schedules). When I arrived, Corey- finance- had already had everything signed by my co-signer and had a plan B and plan C determined by which Gap insurance I decided to accept or decline. Rob went above and beyond the call of duty as I had to switch insurance (going thru a divorce so some technical difficulties)..and he was so patient and reminded me what to do every day...because I was little overwhelmed by three kids, working and divorce court!! I have leased and owned Toyotas for 17 years and I promise I will only return to DCH Toyota in Wappingers Falls, NY for the next one. More

Probably the worst car buying experience I have ever had.. From what I can see they kept trying to tack on a $2200.00 extended warranty I never wanted in the first place..
