0 fixes for 4 attempts I think these people are good at fixing mechanical problems but not electronics. My radio has not been operating properly. Most recently, a Simon & Garfunkel CD has been playing every time the car is on. We can not turn it off and can not turn the volume down. (I've noticed most of Simon's songs, if not all, are about him. I now call his work "I, me, my" songs). This had been the situation for about a year. Before this, the radio did not work. Over the last years, Toyota said it was due to mice in the car eating the wire insulation but could not find where. We decided to have the audio system replaced. At our year end regular maintenance, we did. The radio still would not work but now it was a completely different problem ... the radio would arbitrarily go off and on. They said it was a bad radio replacement and had us come back. The next audio system had the same off/on problem. Now they say it is because it is connected to the same fuse as the emergency lights. So after spending over $500 we still have a bad audio system and they have given up. At least I am free from the sound of "I, me, my. My take away is that they may be good at car mechanics but don't know much about car electronics. Be careful. The service people are nice and efficient. As far as my normal car maintenance, this is the second time in the last three years, that I had to immediately return the car due to noises and vibrations on driving from the service area. In both cases, they set up a new appointment upon which these were fixed. More

Until the first few years I was satisfied with my dealings with them but for the past few years I have been getting personalized service from Evin Calderon who understands my cars, my needs and ensures that he sticks to whatever commitment he makes and stands by it. They wouldn't provide a loaner car when mine brokedown. Bought a used Honda from dutchess Toyota. It broke after 2months and 17 days. Service department did Not want to provide a loaner; even after Friendly Honda said it was dangerous to continue driving. They gave me the first avaliable service date of Dec 13. Toyota did put a call into morehead Honda and left them a message on my behalf but I had call Morehead on my own to make a date & time they could fix the car. This back & forth had been going on 5 days without an offer of loaner car. I was told they didn't have one. Finally called the sales person I bought the car from to see if she could help. Then I called morehead Honda to see if they had a sooner appt than Poughkeepsie could give me. When the sales rep called me back, she accused me of lying about obtaining my own appt and insisted the service girl I initially spoke to, got that sooner appt for me. Not only will It be 4 days since the car broke w/o transportation but the service rep lies and than the sales rep I bought the car from accused me of lying. Tomorrow it will be 5 days without a car and still no resolution in getting any transportation. I've only had this car approx 2 1/2 months. I've been treated terribly accused of lying and the car won't be able to be seen for 6 more days. Im highly offended that the sales center would take an employee lies over the customer word. I was question, doubted, accused and still without a car for 10 days until there would be an avaliable appt for it to be fixed. I've only made the first 2 payments. Thank God I bought an extended warrenty. I will never buy from Dutchess Toyota again. They don't know how to treat their customers once they've made a sale. The service dept assistant manager will say anything to make herself look innocent. She's manipulative so she can back up her lies. She certainly doesn't care whether people who buy used cars are accomidated should the car they bought breaks down. Then people you on tour own to figure out how to get back & forth to work. Basically you got to do it in your own dime even thought you've only had the car a short time. More
