Over 19 years ago Dallas Lease Returns decided to change the way car buying is done. They lowered overhead and teamed up with affiliated leasing companies to cut out the "Dealer Only" auto auctions by offering one-owner, off-lease vehicles direct to the public for 45 days. No longer would you have to deal with high prices, pushy salesmen, and confusing finance managers- prices would be fair and the only vehicles offered would be to the highest standard. Today, DLR has completed over 10,000 transactions becoming the DealerRater National Dealer of the year for 2023 and the DealerRater Texas Dealer of the year for 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, & 23. DLR and its partners have been featured in many local and National publications including Auto Dealer Monthly, Vehicle Leasing Today, Dallas Morning News, and Fort Worth Business Press to name a few, and even appear in eBay marketing ad campaigns. The initial experience was great. However the follow up was not. I had a busted speaker in the passenger door. I replaced it and was told that they would see if it could be compensated, I have not. DMV had to contact me because my AR taxes was not paid and they were supposed to handle that. After several calls back & forth, i ended up paying them myself. $473.00. Dallas release manager decided to pay half (said it was the fair thing to do) Ha!! It was in the deal. How can you not know the taxes of every county if you’re not thorough? So the costumer has to pay for your error? If they have a vehicle that you really want, please pay very close attention to the paperwork part before you sign! And get the vehicle inspected BEFORE PURCHASING.. Personally, I will never shop there again
