I came in for an Inspection. The service at Davis is the best. I was able to wait, and my service advisor Chris kept me informed as to what I needed and was out within an hour. I scheduled an appointment to have my car inspected. I spoke with Ricardo Jimenez who helped to my my drop off and loaner a smooth transaction. Ricardo was very helpful and polite. When initially working with John to purchase a used car, he would not allow us to use our own financing (3.19%) even though it was one of their approved banks, Bank of America. We needed to agree to his ter he would not allow us to use our own financing (3.19%) even though it was one of their approved banks, Bank of America. We needed to agree to his terms (first 4.69% and then, after much questioning, 3.73%) before even seeing the car. He did not even take the time to explain the breakdown of the costs. I understand times are different, but he needs to permit the buyer to use their own financing. When arriving at the dealership, we were greeted (socially distancing) by Larry Zeitz who was delightful, very Friendly and down to earth. He bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. He explained every detail of the car before we took it for a test drive, he offered us water, and when I questioned again why we were not allowed to use our own bank, he called John one last time in an attempt to answer our question. John still would not meet our rate but, Finally, did offer us something close to it- 3.24%. John did not make the car buying experience a pleasant one. It was very stressful working with him and his inflexibility. Thank god for Larry who turned our experience around. More
