Treated worse than I ever thought possible! Bought 3, yes that's THREE vehicles from this place over the previous 12 months. I need a NYS inspection done on a 1 year anniverary of purchasing 2 Bought 3, yes that's THREE vehicles from this place over the previous 12 months. I need a NYS inspection done on a 1 year anniverary of purchasing 2 of them a Silverado and an Equinox. I get notified via email that an inspection is due and so I sign up online for a service appointment which says complimentary NYS inspection for free for these vehicles. My wife goes on the first appointment and they don't have any record of her appointment. Eventually they fit her in and they charge her $10 anyway. She pays it, knowing she isn't supposed to but just wants to get out of there. Then I bring in the Silverado. They have my appointment take in the truck and complete the inspection in about 40 minutes. I get dropped off at a window with the paperwork by the guy who checked me in and the girl behind the window tells me I owe $10. I explain to her that this was supposed to be free, but she says that there isn't anything she can do because the paperwork says I owe $10. So I walk to the guy that dropped me off and attempt to explain the situation to him. He cuts me off, and tells me this: "You are wrong." Wow, ok. I'm not wrong I responded, when I signed up for this online it says that it is free for this vehicle that I bought from here last year. He responds again with the same exact words! "You are wrong. We do not do free NYS inspections. Only free multi-point inspections" So at this point I'm upset. I have never had someone tell me flat out I'm wrong as a customer. So disrespecting and embarrasing. At this point I move over to the head of the service team, Ken, whom I've dealt with previously. I explain what my situation is to him, about the complimentary NYS inspection and how this guy is saying I have to pay for it. Ken says, Ok as if if he knows all about the complimentary inspections, but the guy follows me over there and says, "That's not what you just told me over there. You never said it was complimentary!" So now, he is calling me a liar on top of all of it. At this point I was furious, more embarrased about having to argue for $10 after spending 10's of thousands, and completely put off. I took my 7 year old's hand I was with and we left. No one tried to resolve the issue as we walked around the counter and out the door. My family and I will NEVER go back to that service department ever again!!!! More
