Heard these guys were dishonest, high-pressure stereotypical used car salesmen many times but what the xxxx, I saw a car in their lot similar to what I was looking for and dropped in. Young, not so bright kid busts out the door to help me. Problem is he knew not one thing about the car and instead of coming clean he just kept playing with gadgets and pretending to know facts. Well I did like the car and told him I'd be bringing my wife over for a look. "Well what can I do to put you in a car right now". Really? Are you kidding me "xxxxx"? Anyway I leave and not understanding what honesty means to this kid bring my wife back as I said I would to see if she's on board. Well my wife was 7 months pregnant at the time and I explained she and I were just taking a quick peak and drive but I would try to get a deal together the next morning so my wife wouldn't be put through the wait. He says, "wait wait wait let me at least just grab my manager for a sec so we can tell you some really cool stuff" OK I threw in the "really cool stuff" but it wasn't that far off. Annnnnnnnyway, we stand there for 10 minutes only to watch this "xxxxx" come out of what must have been the used carsalesman break room, walk past us and help some poor ignorant soul out who had apparently taken the first "wait" shift before us. We just leave and now I am only hoping he chases us down so I can kung fu his @$$ for being not just a lying carsalesman but for not cutting a pregnant gall a break once. Don't really know kung fu btw but you get me.... D'Bag Jr. (he was early 20's I think) calls and emails apology after apology but I make him sit for a day before shooting an offer. OK, you ready for this, he honestly says they can't even negotiate an offer unless I'm there in person AND put a security deposit of $1000 on file with them. I ask him if he has my offer in front of him (I know he did because he called me in response right after I sent it in email). He actually says "ya I got your email but can't really see the offer as my email isn't working that great". TRUE STORY! Jr. BLT then tells me the $1000 deposit just to hear my offer is like escrow. I say have a nice life at Dean Team and that he should consider a few classes at community college. Dean Team you guys are the best! More
What a great car buying experience! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very taken care of. We were offered refreshments on several occasions and our sales person Richard couldn't have been ni walked in the door, we felt very taken care of. I was very pleased with the purchase of our '08 Jetta from Richard Reichert and The Dean Team. My old car died and I needed a new, used one. Instead, I was plesantly surprised by the way Richard handled the negotiations, which were very friendly, straight-forward, and matter-of-fact. My experience is unusual. I purchased an 08 Bettle from Rich and did not like the car after I got it home. I brought it back and traded it for a 06 Touareg a month later. Four months later, I started to ha Rich and did not like the car after I got it home. I brought it back and traded it for a 06 Touareg a month later. Four months later, I started to have some mechanical problems with it. I was also spending way too much money in gas ($80/week) than I could afford so I needed to trade it. I called Rich to get my payoff and I vented about all the problems I was having with it. He could have easily blew me off but he went the extra mile and told me to come back and he would help me. I went back and traded the Touareg for a new Jetta TDI. So far I love the car and really love the better gas mileage. All of my dealings with Rich throughout all this was great, but I do not have alot of good to say about the service dept. They never resolved my headlight problem with the Touareg and in the several times I had to go there it felt more like moving cattle in and out instead of addressing my issues I was having. There needs to be two separate areas of service: one for normal maintenance things and one for vehicle problems. Give more attention to those who are having problems. More

From the moment I arrived until the moment I drove off the lot, these guys were all about customer service. I believe Zack would've let me drive every car on that lot until I found the one I was happy wi the lot, these guys were all about customer service. sold me a used car on the advice of a good friend. turnes out the car is rated "fire hazard. not for sale" by car fax. after 3 years and 25000$ plus time wasted and rental fees while the car sat in o turnes out the car is rated "fire hazard. not for sale" by car fax. after 3 years and 25000$ plus time wasted and rental fees while the car sat in one shop or another, i tried taking it back while still in a lease agreement. the car broke down on the lot! they said they can not do anything about it. told me that my credit was not good enogh any more to finance another car. then they had the finance company call me to "work it out". they gave me the sales manager's name, Colin Bernt. when i tried to call him, dealership told me he wasn't availale and to leave a voice mail. no responce. when i called back someone else told me that the manager does not have a voice mail! when i went up to the dealer to talk to him i found him in the middle of a shouting match with another customer who was telling him that he is going to contact the "attorny general's office" to report the dealership for fraud.
