Our overall experience was very good to great. My wife and I visited every dealership in Fort Wayne. Our first stop was at Don Ayers. We knew what we wanted to spend and were looking to upgrade my truck and I visited every dealership in Fort Wayne. Our first stop was at Don Ayers. So after looking all day and having another salesman at Glenbrook Dodge not interested in saling a vehicle we went back to Don Ayers. We looked at some trucks when Brandon came out. He gave us some prices then we decided to take a closer look at the ridgeline. We test drove one of them. We then test drove a blue one and it was the same as the first. We went inside and Brandon worked up the numbers and was off for us by $500. Instead of argueing the point Brandon took the numbers back to his boss and said that would work. It was low pressure. We had no idea that they would finalize everything that evening as it was close to closing time. Everything was done that night and we went home in a Honda Ridgeline. More

We were honest w/Jarod and stated in the beginning we knew what we wanted to purchase and had a couple other dealerships we wanted to visit as well to compare vehicles to the one we liked at Don Ayres. Jarod was very understaning and did not pressure us in any way with our decisiong making. After meeting Jarod and asking him a "million" questions he was patient with us and answered every question and wished us well before we went to the other dealers. After browsing other dealerships and meeting their respective salesmen we realized we would be most satisfied with making our puchase at Don Ayres. So, we returned to D.A. & completed our purchase with Jarod. We did not purchase a "new" vehicle but it even though it was used it was very "new" to us and we appreciated the fact the Jarod was just as professional with us as he would have been with a customer who did purchase a new vehicle. I have never had a good experience buying a new vehicle. This is no different. I couldn't even get a free bottle of touch up paint. I felt insulted for what they offered me for my used car. We started out looking for a used CRV and instead decided to look at new. Lucky for us he could cross sell to the new car side. We also looked at the Santa Fe Hyundai and for the money probably should have considered it. They have a much better warranty and roadside assistance program but my wife really wanted a CRV. More

I feel very comfortable at Don Ayres when I have service done. I am very confident in their ability. I am always treated with utmost courtesy. For instance, I have new tires and get them rotated for free at Tire Barn after I have my oil changed at Don Ayres. I did not need to pay for Don Ayres to rotate my tires. I think it should be taken out of the package since every tire place rotates for free. I could even get my brakes inspected for free at the place I got the brakes. I would suggest that the package be a la carte and have the person check off a list. More

I have been buying cars for over 40 years and I would say this was one of our best experiences. Our salesman (Aaron) was courteous, knowledgeable, and very personable. We felt like valued customers and not just a sale. It was obvious that everyone we had contact with was focused on making us feel satisfied. We came back the next day to return the title of our trade-in. Aaron met us at the door and took the time to take the vehicle to the shop to adjust a door lock setting. 5 STAR service. We winced a little at the sticker price of the vehicle when we started but we definitely got our money's worth. A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FUN STAFF. We would highly recommend Don Ayres Honda. More

I had my 20 year old daughter take my car in for an oil change and she said the gentleman she dealt with was very short with her and when he stated the problem might be a leak in the oil pan she told him I change and she said the gentleman she dealt with was very short with her and when he stated the problem might be a leak in the oil pan she told him I had just had that fixed and he said "When?" Well she wasn't sure of the date but I have always had my service done at Don Ayers so why did he not go look it up on the computer? She said he was unhappy with her the minute she stopped in without an appt. and made her feel she was not welcome there. I told her next time to find Doug or Jay since I have been coming there since I purchased my first Honda in 1988. I will be sure and bring in my car myself next time in order to make sure that I get my questions answered without an attitude. I thought it would be ok for my daughter to bring it in since it was just an oil change, but I guessed wrong! More
