Dan Alicea was great throughout the whole process. I know this comes from the top and your third party insurance company. I did everything I thought should be done for the policy, even changing the transmission fluid when it was not required. What they rejected my claim for had nothing to do with the transmission. It cost me $6400 to replace a torque converter. I could have replaced the whole transmission for less. Knowing that your third party insurance company is horrible, you think I'd get somewhat of a break on the price. I know I'm getting $2000 back from the third party, but I bought the Escape from Elder because of the warranty. I've never had a Ford's tranny last more that 70,000 miles. I've had 3 previous to this fail. This one will be my last. Toyota's from now on.

Yeah we called we talked i still dont have the floor mats i did get.the recalled air bags fixed lucky there i guess. Ironically it.was delivered today this is 3rd vehicle and this is the deal is suboptimal at best not recommended

Mr. Sills, I truly appreciate your prompt response; however, the time has come for me to move on. I didn't make this decision in a vacuum, but gave it some time and thought since my first visit back in 2019. Initially, that "personal touch" I mentioned earlier was unmatched. However, over time it began to dwindle away. For example, about 2-3 months ago I called the dealership looking to extended my current warranty. The difficulty I experienced in reaching someone to provide some/any details about it became incomprehensible. Even worst, once I did reach someone, I never heard back from them with the information I asked for. Here's an example of a more recent experience. At the completion of a recent quick lube appointment, one of your salesman called me an asked if I could stop by for an appraisal on my truck. Considering I was short on time, but literally right across the street, I agreed. Expectation set. I walked into the dealership, ask for him by name only to be told, "he's not here and he doesn't work in here." I explained why I had come over, "I'm sorry, but no one is here to do that at the moment." I'm sure you can understand my confusion at this point considering I had just got off the phone with the salesman. Admittedly, I was a lil ticked off about it. As I get back into my truck and begin to drive off, I get a text message from said salesman providing me a "name" to ask for. Hmmm, I think not sir. You set my expectation, but failed to meet it. So again Mr. Sills, I greatly appreciate you responding as quickly as you have. And I appreciate your willingness to make things right. Unfortunately, it's time we part ways.
