Disappointing Experience at Your Dealership I visited your dealership this past Saturday 26JUL2025 with the intent to purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately, the car I test drove was not AWD and didn’t includ your dealership this past Saturday 26JUL2025 with the intent to purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately, the car I test drove was not AWD and didn’t include the package I was looking for. I clearly communicated my specific requirements to the salesman (Sammy) who accompanied me on the test drive. Despite expressing my interest, I received zero follow-up—no calls, no emails, no effort. To make matters worse, as soon as we returned, he stepped out of the vehicle, pointed to where I should park, and walked off to assist another customer without a word. It was clear he had no interest in earning my business, so I took mine elsewhere. I came ready to buy. He came unprepared to sell. To add further context to my experience: during the test drive, the salesperson was on his phone the entire time. When I inquired whether Elk Grove Toyota would be receiving any Camry XSE AWD models with the Premium Plus package, his response was dismissive “Yeah, they’re expensive” as if I were interrupting his texting or didn’t appear capable of affording the vehicle I specifically came in for. For clarity, I did in fact purchase a Camry XSE AWD with the Premium Plus package that same day, just not from Elk Grove Toyota. I hope this helps shed light on the impact of that interaction and how easily a potential customer can be lost. More
