My experience was so great with Exeter Subaru that I chose to travel over an hour to do business with them as opposed to going to the one around the c My experience was so great with Exeter Subaru that I chose to travel over an hour to do business with them as opposed to going to the one around the corner from me, Milford Subaru. I tried Milford, Peter's Honda and a couple of others, but the professionalism and no hard-sell didn't come close - I had to leave Peter's, it was so uncomfortable once the salesperson knew I planned on leaving and thinking about it for a day, and Milford just didn't make any extra effort to find me the right car. First, Brianna helped me by sending me emails featuring cars that fit my preferences and budget. This helped me to know what to expect to see when I came in the first time. I especially like the fact that they post all pricing on their website so there is no bait and switch atmosphere to overcome when you come there. John Webster took me around my first day - he was super nice and knowledgeable, not pushy at all. He's been there a long time and it shows! He also ollowed up with a thank you call. I left that first day because I didn't quite find the right car. The 2nd time I came in John was out so Eric St. Pierre helped me pick out cars within my budget and criteria and took me for a couple of test drives. He is an exemplary sales person, and because I've been in sales and sales training/management for over 30 years, I can tell you he's one of the best I've ever dealt with! He's personable, knowledgeable, patient, and so professional. He never pushed and really cared that I got in the car I would love - and I did! After the sale he called within 2 days to check how I was doing. I also had a great experience with the finance manager, Greg Perrotti. He is so experienced in what he does and made the financing experience painless! He was also patient and explained details that I questioned - carefully and in a very professional, un-rushed manner. It was a very busy place that day but you would never have known it as Greg and Eric acted as if I was their only customer that day! I would travel the far drive again if I needed a car, and will refer my family and close friends to Exeter Subaru! Come in and see Eric St. Pierre- you won't be disappointed! The most important thing is the difference from Exeter and the other dealers - no stress, no hard-sell - they respect the intelligence of their customers and know the best way to grow their business - personal referrals from happy and very satisfied former customers! Seeking something AWD and good on gas I happened to be driving past Exeter Subaru and had a little time to check them out. The salesman, Dan Bottomley, was very knowledgeable....and patient because I drove about four different cars. Needless to say, I was sold and the next day met with Dan and easily reached an agreement on an Outback. Everyone I met was very friendly and this was one of the best car shopping experiences I have ever had. More

We went in together for my initial introduction, the entire staff was super friendly and helpful in getting me started on my search for the perfect car for me. I ended up working with both of the Eric's, which made remembering names easy, an added bonus. I looked into buying an Impreza; while they had some available for me to test drive, they didn't have exactly what I wanted on the lot, mostly because I wanted a specific color... thankfully they were able to order it for me. Overall I had a very pleasant experience, everything was super easy and I couldn't be happier with my new car! Thank you! More

Nightmare This was my first car buying experience as an 18 year old girl, and I wish it would be my last. Everything that I tried to do at this dealership went wrong. They kept trying to put me through loops. Everyone there was condescending. They were two hours late getting me in for one of my appointments to buy the car. They refused to let me pay in cash. Paying in cash made my car more money than the sticker price. They kept begging me to finance because they made money off of it. The car was not ready for me to pick up when it was supposed to be so I went home without the car and they had to deliver it to me and still charged me full price. They finally delivered it with a broken key, an empty gas tank, and low coolant. The contract said it would be delivered with a full tank. Their solution when we called was to mail me the right key and a $25 check. We refused that offer and went down there again to have them fill the tank which ended up being 50 dollars to do. This two week process was the worst experience I have ever had with any type a business. To his credit, John Karliak did his best for damage control, but at that point, there was no salvaging my opinion of Exerer Subaru More
