the worst service manager I ever met! your service manager is very rude! I filled a complaint with hyundai and I wanted to talk to ther owner and the sales manager called me and nothing wa your service manager is very rude! I took it to another dealership. I will never come back there again! what you could do is make Colin your service manager! He knows how to deal with people and he diffused the situation and he made sure that I was taken care of. also check your video footage of the day I wad there and you can set how awful your manager treated me! Delay Delay Delay Had an appointment for mud guards which where to be installed at my previous appointment, however, they were not available. I set another appointment Had an appointment for mud guards which where to be installed at my previous appointment, however, they were not available. I set another appointment once I received a call they were available. My vehicle was brought out to me 2 hours after I arrived and myself and the service representative Collin did not see where anything was done to the vehicle. Later we found out the service technician put on a deflector instead of the mud guards. Collin was very apologetic and said he would get the mud guards put on asap. After another hour and a half the vehicle was brought out with both front and rear mud guards and I had to pay $116! It took over 3 hours to get mud guards installed when I had an appointment! I do have to say Collin did an excellent job of talking me down and if not for him I would not be a Family Hyundai customer. When I asked the managers in the offices all they had to say is service was closed the last 2 days and they're backed up and just be patient. Thanks management at Family Hyundai. More

Terrible service I bought a 2018 vehicle paid in cash. 2 months later the engine begins to overheat. A worker from the service department was ridiculous and kept accu I bought a 2018 vehicle paid in cash. 2 months later the engine begins to overheat. A worker from the service department was ridiculous and kept accusing me of getting into an accident. While it is entirely possible I could have ran over something without noticing she kept referring to it as an accident and being ignorant. No employees valued my time at all. I had to make 2 trips and was very unhappy with service at both trips. More
Update with family Hyundai On December 26,2018 about the 3 o'clock hour I came to Family Hyundai dealership in Tinley Park. My service writer Tom S. was friendly and did his job well. I can not say that about my tech that did not do his or her job because. Today December 27, 2018, when I left for work at 6:30 am I found there was a puddle of oil on my garage floor. I AM Very Pissed about this!!!! When I called this morning after 7am all I got was a voicemail then I called @ 715 am and the same thing voicemail again. Why have starting hours at 7 am if No One Will Pick Up The Phone??!!! And when I checked the dip stick the oil was over the recommended where the oil should be.. so did the tech over fill my engine?!! I'd expect to get 5 star service from a 5 star dealership like Family Hyundai. I could get bad service at a ten minute oil company but not a 5 star dealership like Family Hyundai in Tinley Park,Il. Very dissatisfied with this experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jeff M. -------------------- Update: Micheal K service manager called me today (12/27/2018) to resolve the problem I had with my oil change yesterday. Michael and the tech walked me through and pointed out the cause of the problem I had with my 2017 Santa Fe Ultimate Turbo oil change. I feel much better with Family Hyundai in Tinley Park,Il now than I did this morning!! I will try them again in the future and maybe turn into a customer for life because of the time Michael Kratschmer the service manager took with me. I see at Family Hyundai really do care about their customer(s). For right now I will give them a 4 start rating rather than 1 star. Thanks Jeff M. in Tinley Park Il. More
