Tom Salin is always very professional and I usually ask for him when I call in to make my service appointments because he will take care of my vehicle needs. I always know before hand what is coming up next service wise so I can know how to plan. Whether it’s working a few extra hours or smart planning. In that respect alone I appreciate Tom and he is truly an asset to Family Hyundai!!!! More

Problem not fixed My 2015 sonata has been back and forth to the Tinley Park Hyundai dealership since January of this year. It is now the 3rd month of this year and the My 2015 sonata has been back and forth to the Tinley Park Hyundai dealership since January of this year. It is now the 3rd month of this year and the problem is still not fixed. Everytime I go for service for my blinking engine light, it’s something new. They’ve replaced my horiness wiring twice, replaced the engine, and replaced the VCM(intake manifold) all at different services time. At this point, I believe they sold me a “lemon car!” I’m so disappointed in the service! More

The service center folks at Family Hyundai were awesome. Four recall problems were corrected, and everything was explained to me in basic terms...... also the recommendations for repair on my car were presented to me with no pressure to get everything scheduled and done at that time. I was planning on just sitting and reading while waiting for what was projected to be a three hour recall repair but, instead, was driven to my gym to make better use of my time, and picked up when the repairs were completed. Very grateful to all concerned.....thank you. More

Trust Don't trust service dept. Once tried to sell me a cabin filter that was not needed. I have a K&N cabin filter which is WASHABLE. Technician never actu Don't trust service dept. Once tried to sell me a cabin filter that was not needed. I have a K&N cabin filter which is WASHABLE. Technician never actually CHECKED said filter. All he did was read"THE IDIOT BOX." If he had actually LOOKED at filter, he would have SEEN all the K&N labels on the compartment. Bring the car in for an oil change and supposedly they do a multi-point inspection. How do brakes go from YELLOW check marks to all GREEN check marks between oil changes------ WITH NOTHING BEING DONE!!!!! Only reason I take car back to dealership is for the " EVERY THIRD OIL CHANGE FREE policy. And now I find myself actually checking the oil after said oil change to see if it was actually done and the oil is clean. And-------(THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEALERSHIP) 10 RECALLS IN THE 9 YEARS I'VE OWNED THE CAR??????? RIDICULOUS!!!!!! And even HYUNDAI can't get that right. Send me a letter informing me of said recall which states that NO ACTION IS NEEDED until second letter is sent. WHICH NEVER COMES!!!!! More
