This is the third time I have taken my car to this Chevy location. I received a recall notice in the mail that matched the issues I am experiencing. I called on a Tuesday to discuss the issues I was having location. I received a recall notice in the mail that matched the issues I am experiencing. I called on a Tuesday to discuss the issues I was having and to make an appointment. The associate took notes on the issue I was having and put it on my scheduled appointment. I dropped my car off on the following Saturday so it was available all day on Monday when my appointment was scheduled for. While dropping it off another associate read over the issues I was having to confirm everything. None of the notes were correct from the previous associate. I was informed if the issues I’m having aren’t due to the recall I’d have to pay $200. That’s insane if I received a letter in the mail stating my VIN shows a recall. He said he was going to correct the notes but Amy would call my on Monday to validate everything as well. Monday came and left and I didn’t hear anything from Ferman. By 11am Tuesday I still didn’t hear anything so I called. Amy didn’t answer so I called the main line and eventually got transferred to Amy. She advised they looked at my car on Monday but found nothing wrong. She read over the notes and none of the noted issues were actually issues I was having. I went over the issues I was having for the third time to the third associate. She said she’d get back to me by 2pm. 3pm came and I still didn’t hear anything so I once again called. Amy advised they never got to look at my car. So now my car is stuck there atleast until Wednesday. It’s now 11am Wednesday and I haven’t heard anything. I called and Amy said she was going to put me on hold to check with the tech. When she put me on hold I was transferred to voicemail. At this point my over all experience have been ZERO STARS so I called back and asked to speak to the service manager. I was told he was out on a family emergency but I could be passes to the Shannon that is over sales. I said that was fine. I explained everything above to Shannon and she said that sounded unlike the experiences she has had with the Ferman service department but understood the issues I was having and would get it corrected. I informed Shannon that Ferman has had my car for 5 days now and I am doing most of the work in communication. This is very upsetting from a customer experience perspective. Shannon said to give her an hour and she’s get back to me. She got back to me in less then an hour and put me on speaker phone to talk to her and the tech about my car. I explained all the issues I was having to the tech and he advised the possibilities and said give him until 3pm. I received a call at 2:30 that my car was ready for pick up and everything is covered under warranty and recall. When I went to pick up the car, Amy walked me to my car and basically begged me for a five star review. She pushed off all the issues I was dealing with to her coworkers saying it was their fault. That’s not the truth. All three associates I dealt with played a part in my over all bad experience but her lack of communication drove my experience into flames! Why should the customer have to keep tabs on the employees at Ferman service center. The convenient location does not make up for it. I’ll will be now willing to drive further to deal with better service. On another note, about a week ever my car was taken to Ferman I received a call from Castriota called me to check in as certain car alerts came on their screen and wanted to talk through the alerts with me to see how we should approach the issues. That’s service! Reaching out to the customer checking in on them see what is truly needed. More
I was really struggling with an AC issue and my previous service advisor retiring. It took several visits to resolve but car is cool again!
