I purchased my 2020 camry used 6 months after it rolled off the line. I have kept it at or above dealer recommend servicing at Findlay since day one. I have put 70k miles on it? Scheduling an appointment was easy. Maintenance requested was completed. Items to fix were mostly acceptable. Needing to balance already rotated tires seemed weird. It also seemed weird needing to do an alignment on tires after only 10k miles. I will be getting a second opinion about the balancing and alignment of tires to see if this was really necessary in the first place, as these were the ones that were on the car when I bought it brand new (i.e. with only 10 miles!) 1 year ago. Not to mention the 15 second spin on the balancing machine shouldn't have taken an extra hour to perform that was taken. Price for the air filter itself (just part price) seemed about $20 more than what I would've paid had I done it myself. Finally, the service person who handled my paperwork complained to me that his lunch was going to be cut short that day, because he needed to finalize my service and payment before he could go to lunch and it was taking longer than he expected. Overall, Findlay did what they were asked to do, but their service experience didn't seem like they remembered the "care" in Toyota Care both for me the customer and apparently also their employees since my rep was so worried he was going to lose time on his already short (30 minute) lunch break. If a company cannot care for their own staff, how can the customer trust them to really take care of them?! More
