Felt like a Family Atmosphere. We pulled up on a Friday to the dealership and 2 sales representatives greeted us. William approached us and was very friendly. We told him that we wanted to test drive a new and a used F-150. We made it clear we just started shopping and we wanted to test other brands as well. He understood that and did not try to high pressure us in buying from him. He pulled out the used vehicle and we drove it. Then he found a new one to drive. We liked them both but did not want to make a deal right then. We told him we would probably be making a deal with someone that weekend. He understood that and was fine with it. We went to 2 other dealers (different brands) to test drive their comparable trucks. At both dealers, people saw us but never approached us, like they didn't want to do a deal with us. We went home and looked at vehicles online and found one at a sister dealership of 5 Star. We called William to see if he could get a vehicle from one of his other dealerships. He said he would try. He spoke with his sales manager and there was another vehicle on their lot they recommended and they dropped the price from the internet price. We set an appointment to go back and see him on Saturday. We met with him and he had our car checked out that we were trading and found the truck his pre-owned manager suggested. We drove it and liked it. They gave it to us at the price they said. The process was very easy and we did not feel like we were treated like cattle just to make the sale but instead they listened to us and made suggestions. Then we got to Finance and met with Bubba, he was very friendly, we were joking around and working with him was painless too. I have been in dealerships where going to the dentist would have been a better experience but that was definitely not the case with the 5 Star Ford team in North Richland Hills. We will go back and buy again from William May. More
