I went into 5 Star Ford looking to get a new F-150. Aaron Dias assisted in finding the exact truck that I was looking for. He answered all of my questions and educated me on all of my options. I went to this dealership and I located three trucks that I wanted. I wrote down all the information on the trucks and headed to the sales floor.When I talked with the salesman I told him upfront that my cre I wanted. I had messed up with my credit and I knew I woud have to put a lot of money down. He told me that I would back from him first thing the next morning. The next day later into the afternoon I called to find out what was going on because he had never bothered to return my call. He told me that he had tried to call me twice but didn't leave a message. He told me how much money that I needed to put down to make the deal happen. I told him that was ok and I wanted my wife to go drive the trucks before I made the final choice. I never heard back from him so I went back to the dealership and talked with another salesman. I told him everything that had happened and gave him all the information on the three trucks so we could start the process over and get this deal over. The new salesman said that he would handle things and that he was sorry that they had dropped the ball. The next day I had to call him back to find out what was going on. He told me that the paperwork was in the back with the finance department and he would go get it and call me back. About a hour later the first salesman called me back and stated that he was waiting on me to call him back. That I must have misunderstood our last conversation and he was there to help me. I told him that my wife was headed up there to drive the trucks so we could just get this over. He said that he would be there and waiting on her. She called me when she left the dealership to tell me about the truck that she liked. She said that the first salesman had left and the second salesman helped her. She had made it to the dealership within an hour of me talking with him. She said that she liked one truck but that she would like to go back with me so we could look at them all and mabey unlock it so she could see the inside, The salesman didn't even bring the keys to unlock the trucks so she could see the inside much less drive them. I know this sounds like im making this up but this is totally the truth. This is a $52,000 truck, I guess the salesman thought that the downpayment that I was going to put down was a little out of my league. I have the money and would have bought the truck. I have changed my mind about buying a truck at this time. More
