I had a great sales experience at Five Star Ford thanks to the efforts of Carlos Hernandez. I was interested in a particular vehicle and I was turned over to Carlos as he was the most knowledgeable on tha to the efforts of Carlos Hernandez. I had done allot of research but still had questions and Carlos and I talked for at least 45 minutes reviewing all the unique features and capabilities of the vehicle. He was very smart on the car and if he didn't know the answer he had no problem bringing in other folks to make sure I got the info I needed (Adam - I'm sorry I forgot his last name but he runs the SNYC classes - was very helpful). When the time came we sat down to talk and Carlos flat out worked his butt off making this deal happen. He was always friendly and never pressured me as he worked to get the deal I wanted. I could not be happier with my purchase, I got the exact car I wanted for the price I walked in the door wanting to pay...THANK YOU CARLOS!! We were looking at the Edge and the Explorer just to see what we thought we wouldn't be getting when Kolynn Smith came out on a very cold evening and asked us if we needed help. My wife and I were skeptical going into the dealership, but Kolynn made our experience a whole lot easier than we ever could have imagined. My wife and I could not have asked for a more pleasant car-buying experience, and we certainly have Kolynn Smith to thank for that. His willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a memorable car purchase is an invaluable asset to Five Star Ford. We were so excited by the experience that after purchasing the Explorer on February 11, we found ourselves back to lease a new Edge on February 15. My husband and I went to Five Star actually looking for a new Ford F150. Carlos met with us as soon as we drove up. He was friendly, attentive and not pushy. We had arrived with one vehicle in mind, but because we did not feel pressured we looked at several that were outside of our original plan. We ended up going with a much more expensive vehicle than we walked in for, but we felt like we got a good deal on a great truck. Carlos really tried to work for us and with us going back and forth with the finance department to get us the best deal possible. The finance/ finalizing paper work process was a little bit messy. This portion was out of Carlos' hands though. Once we selected the truck we wanted, we were essentially "passed" along to the financing department. We felt a bit like we were not thoroughly talked through the terms of the final deal other than the portion where they upsold us on additional warranty/insurance coverage. A week after we signed on the truck I received a phone call asking about income verification, etc when clearly we thought that had all been taken care of during the final signing process. I would recommend the dealership, but I would ask them up front at signing what all paper work they need so they do not bug you off and on for weeks after. More

The overall experience was great and I believe that it is partially due to the fact that I was an American Airlines Credit Union member and an X plan participant which made the no haggle experience good. Tony was great!! The finance department on the other hand sold me an overpriced warranty, a bad high intereast rate and a term longer than I requested.
