Bought New Tacoma I was very happy with my buying experience. I think i should have got a better deal. I have an 805 credit score and still got 3.49% interest rate. I was very happy with my buying experience. I think i should have got a better deal. I have an 805 credit score and still got 3.49% interest rate. I was hoping for zero but the $528.00 payment is all i was willing to pay with out the 100k warranty. The sale rep was great. Got $250.00 for a 2003 dodge caravan that had 236000 miles on it. I am the kind of person that keeps the auto and does the maintenance way after i have it paid off. I would have love the truck more with the zero interest rate and the 100k warranty with the same $528 payment but that was not offered. The staff was great, they are in the business of making money. I do not fault them for that. I just wanted and expected more. I did not expect the 100k warranty to cost me $150 more a month on my payment, that is 10,800 more on the cost of a truck. I expect the truck to get 300k miles or more with only minor wear and tears for repairs, which leaves 200k miles out of warranty. Remember i have not bought a new car in 17 years. I was new to the car buying experience. I am old school and change my oil every 3k to 5k miles. If i change the oil myself on the new truck i void the warranty. I don't like that. New autos they say you only have to change every 8k to 10k. I don't know. I will say that the sale rep was knowledgeable on the truck. A great guy to deal with. Very Relaxed buying situation. I would shop at Fred Anderson again because of Mike. More
