We bought the car sight unseen, relying on the experience and honesty of the salesperson to tell us if this was a good car for our needs. First, The car was previously owned by a smoker. We replaced the cabin filter but the upholstery is soaked in nicotine. I am super suprised that the used car department did not even take the time to change the filter, let alone have the interior steam cleaned. Secondly, The salesperson did no inform us of the serious transmission problems inherent in this vintage of Ford Focus. We only learned after the purchase of the stuttering shuddering starts this dual dry-clutch automatic give. More
