We live in California and allowed our daughter to have a car at school (University of Notre Dame) for the first time. Our son had been using our 2012 Toyota Corolla at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. When he was finished there this past July, we needed to drive the car up to South Bend. I tried to get the required and necessary airbag recall work done in MO before the drive but several different dealers in MO either did not want to do the work or did not have the parts available to do it. We had to take the car up to South Bend in a potentially dangerous condition. We were able to get an appointment for the recall work with no problem and Gates was able to accommodate us when we arrived early but my husband felt we were treated a bit dismissively because of the work being done (non-revenue). More
I find the service department is very professional and polite! Making taking a car in for an oil change enjoyable! Thankfully, someone inside saw me struggling to figure this out, brought me an envelope, and pointed out the slot in the garage door behind me and to the left. I recommend you update the instructions in the dropbox and keep it stocked with envelopes. When it comes to car repair, we are happy to pay a fair price for honesty and competence. So far, we feel we have received that from you, even though repairs recently have been in the thousands. Thanks again. More
Gates is a part of our family. Every member of my family has a Toyota from Gates and we all get them serviced there. I even live in Chicago and still do the vast majority of car work done here whenever we c has a Toyota from Gates and we all get them serviced there. Our vehicle lost battery power unexpedly last Friday night. I called Gates the next morning and was fitted in for replacement at 2 on Saturday. They close at 4. Was so impressed with their graceful ac night. I called Gates the next morning and was fitted in for replacement at 2 on Saturday. They close at 4.
