For the last two service appointments I've dropped my truck the night before, for a 7am scheduled service. Simply an oil change and tire rotation. Each of the two times, "I've" had to call the service de truck the night before, for a 7am scheduled service. Simply an oil change and tire rotation. Each of the two times, "I've" had to call the service department to find out if my truck service was complete. I had to call 3 times yesterday at 1:30pm and each of those times I was put on hold then put through to a voicemail. (Simply to find out if my oil change had been completed and my truck was ready for pickup). If this was the first time it occurred, I could understand but this is the 2nd time in a row. I have been bringing my truck for service at Germain since 2014. It's pricey, $90 for oil change and tire rotation, but I always felt it was a good plan to take it to the same dealer for service. However, I'm rather frustrated with the service I've received the last two visits, especially give the price In paying. (Most of my frustration was being put on hold, no answer and turned over to a voicemail 3 times) If I have to answer the question about recommending Germain Service, based on my last two interactions, I honestly could not recommend them. While the service manager did call when my truck was completd and apologized for the delay, it was again moreover the frustration of not being able to speak to someone in service, simply to find out the status of my vehicle. Germain has always been fair with my issues, probably more than fair. I trust that they will take care of my vehicle as they would a best friend. Everyone I have come in contact with has been professio more than fair. I trust that they will take care of my vehicle as they would a best friend. Everyone I have come in contact with has been professional but friendly and try not to cause me to wait. My vehicles were purchased at Germain, serviced by Germain, in a couple of cases needed more than maintenance at Germain, and I plan to buy any future vehicles from Germain. As far as the cost goes, I always wish it was less but I've compared it among friends' dealers and it seems to be equivalent in most services and sometimes better. More
