I own a 2019 F350 diesel and made the mistake of adding 7 gallons of gasoline to my tank, which already had 10 gallons of diesel. I immediately contacted Gordie Boucher Janesville, and a service sales rep as gallons of gasoline to my tank, which already had 10 gallons of diesel. I immediately contacted Gordie Boucher Janesville, and a service sales rep assured me they would drain the tank. However, I was concerned about turning on the auxiliary power to get the truck in neutral, so I called again. The Service Sales Rep said it wouldn’t cause any issues. After towing the truck in, I received a call stating that gas had reached a critical part of my fuel system, and repairs would cost $16,000. They claimed this happened because I turned on the auxiliary power for towing, despite being told it would be fine. I argued that if I’d been informed otherwise, I would’ve sought a different solution in towing. They then pressured me to contact my insurance. I declined multiple times. Eventually, I spoke to their manager and mentioned I was considering another company, which had successfully flushed a similar issue. He confirmed they could do the same. I was concerned if someone would start the vehicle, they assured me no one would, and that it had a DO NOT START for the vehicle. So I did and just waited for my Service Sales Rep. After going back and forth and not finding a solution with them. I came in paid for a diagnostic told them I would be back Monday to tow the vehicle. When I arrived to do it, I was shocked to find that someone had moved it! It wasn't in the same spot— it was five spaces down. To make matters worse, it had been snowing those days, so they must have had to run the vehicle enough to defrost the windows just to see out. How could they do that?! I'm beyond frustrated! We drained the fuel filters to check for any issues, and guess what we found—metal shavings! More
