The Outback came highly recommended and I explored it online which is how I met Chris Thomas. He quoted his best price which brought us to Grand Subaru for a test drive. When We arrived, he had the car ready, and could answer every question we had regarding the car. We decided to purchase. When we returned to pick up the car, I was amazed at how well the experience was orchestrated. Long story short, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Lou did what he promised to do, in the time he promised to do it in. My family and I decided to upgrade our current Subaru to the biggest model they had as our family had changed. In this time of COVID-19 concerns, we really weren’t looking to spend much time: a) shopping around in person, b) haggle on pricing, c) drag the buying process out. We used TrueCar, Cars.com, Edmunds.com as well as Subaru’s homesite to pick out the vehicle we were looking for. My original Subaru purchase was at another dealership and I had a good experience there too, however, I didn’t want to drive 30+ miles in order to close and purchase our new vehicle. Initially, we tried making the purchase at a Subaru dealership much closer to our home. We actually test drove the vehicle at the other dealership, but the representative I had made contact with was not available to test drive with us at our scheduled time and he could not get any of his co-workers to assist us for some time. We finally test drove the vehicle about 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. We were made to feel as our business can be taken elsewhere. I then reached out to Grand Subaru and it was 180 degrees different from the other location. Grand Subaru provided a quote on a 2021 model though I was only shopping for a 2020. This was actually great. When I spoke with Lou, I told him what my expectations were and that I didn’t want to spend more than 90 minutes at the dealership, essentially just the time needed to go through the finance office. He confirmed that if I could fill out forms prior to my arrival and provide him with other necessary info, he could make it happen. Lou was direct and concise with his directions and requests. He was very prompt with my questions and any other replies. It was obvious that he wanted to make the sale but he didn’t make me feel like I was unimportant or less intelligent throughout the process. Within 48 hours, he had provided me with the necessary information and instruction so that I could show up to the dealership at our appointed time and close the deal. Linda, in the finance department, was also great with her time and efficiency. In the end, she understood my budget parameters and we were able to properly and promptly close the deal. Back in 2017, I had come to Grand Subaru to purchase my Outback but they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. This time, they had the exact vehicle and they made me feel great about my purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lou and Grand Subaru if anyone is interested in purchasing a Subaru. More
