I replied with the car and features I wanted, and he replied to me 3 minutes later saying he could order me the exact car I wanted and it would arrive in about 6 weeks. I couldn't believe how easy that was. I'm really happy with the additional options I purchased, but I would have preferred to have been informed of the options in advance so I could have understood them better before I agreed to purchase them. Also, I was there for 4 hours to pick up the new car. It would be nice if they could streamline that process a bit. More
No way it should take over 4 hrs to close the deal once car picked out and numbers agreed. Kept telling sales I had a long drive and wanted to beat traffic. We purchased a 2023 Subaru Solterra through Chris Thomas, Internet Sales Manager at Grand Subaru last week. The first time I contacted the dealership by phone Chris was on the line within seconds. Most people would agree that buying a new car, while exciting, has a high level of stress. But thanks to Chris’ knowledge, quick response to our calls, emails or texts, and his personality plus we had a 5 out of 5 star experience. Chris is also a very good listener which was so essential in our case as we had to travel over 150 miles to pick up the vehicle. Due to confusion on my part we decided to purchase a different Solterra than we had originally reserved. Chris and his team made it happen even though all the paperwork, payment and orientation of the original vehicle had been completed. I’m sure it was no easy task to redo everything and the dealership wasn’t obligated either. But, within a couple hours my husband was driving our “Harbor Mist Gray” Solterra, actually a beautiful blue gray, home. When I called Grand Subaru after 6:00pm that evening with a question about our new EV, Chris happily took the call even though it was well beyond his normal 5:00pm finish. An even more impressive example of Chris’ caring and dedication is that he called back from home at 8:00pm to make sure our problem was resolved. In conclusion, we feel that this car buying experience has been the best we’ve ever had due to Chris’ hard work, positive and helpful attitude, and attention to detail and dedication to Grand Subaru.
