Always get the first appointment at 0700. Truck is first in line and first in the shop. Still takes 2 hours every time to do a simple oil change and tire rotation. Will not be back. When I brought my Tacoma in for covered 10k service I mentioned that I had to use a breaker bar with a 24” extension to remove the filter carrier. The service advisor said, “That’s the way they install t mentioned that I had to use a breaker bar with a 24” extension to remove the filter carrier. The service advisor said, “That’s the way they install them”. I told him that no…there is a specified torque. The carrier is plastic and overtorquing to that extent is not good. I followed up with another person who identified himself as the Assistant Service Manager. He understood my issue and said that he would talk to the original service advisor to straighten it out. I am not confident that he did that. Can you confirm that notification has been made and training provided for how to install filter carriers with proper tools and proper torque? More
We were there almost two hours for an oil change and they talked us into checking the break fluids. I had to go and inquire after one and a half hours and seeing other people come and go. I will be back at the end of the year to trade my vehicle in for a vehicle that the salesman Puneet took the time to help me! More
