We were impressed with the extreme and accurate knowledge of the product that our salesman had. His communication skills were excellent. There was no undue pressure from him to buy a vehicle NOW. He took time to explain any questions that were asked with no indication of irritation or impatience on his part. There was great attention given to ensure a good sales experience. Again, there was no pressure; no urgency of the sale. We were given all the time we required to make a decision. They made us feel at ease during this whole process which entailed a mountain of paperwork, and also took the time to give us a ton of information about the many features of this high tech vehicle. He even stayed after hours for us. We appreciated that they respected the notion that buying a vehicle was a big step for us (anyone, for that matter), and gave us all the data we needed to make an informed decision. I assume the factory workers in Japan, the importers in Maine, the salesmen, the service technicians...all are happy and are making a decent, fair living doing what they are doing, and price we paid represents that -- who could really tell? I don't like the idea of paying "more than I should have", like everyone else, but after doing whatever research I could and coming up with my own idea of the fair price for the prius, Ali beat that on my first try, by quite a bit. In doing the research about the options, etc., I did feel like I might be maybe a little more knowledgable about the vehicles than the sales folk we talked with, but the guys at handy seemed to know more than the others about the new ones, and potential differences from one year to the next. At one place, I thought they might be too willing to coax me into buying a 2011 instead of a 2012, because they had a lot left over (literally, I guess!) -- but Ali offered to mail us a 2012 brochure without prompting. When we eventually came in to sign the papers, it was obvious that the sales guys had attended a class or something to learn about the newest features, which Ali was more than happy to demonstrate for us. No one tried to sell us anything we didn't ask for, (the waranty is pretty good already), but I was only made aware of stuff that I might want (like floor mats or locking lug nuts) -- absolutely no pressure. We felt like our desires were absolutely respected. I hope our experiences with handy continue to be positive ones as we go though our scheduled and other services -- I don't see any reason why they would not. (btw, before taxes, registration, etc, the price we paid was ~$1200 less than msrp) More

This is our second purchase from Handy's and we were treated well both times.
