Spoke with Sue M. on the phone and she gave me the info I was looking for. But to my surprise, she called me 5-minutes later with additional info that was very helpful to know (she called the DMV herself and this saved me the hassle). Really appreciated that. More

On 6/13/2026 I purchased a 2026 Sienna from Handy Toyota and specifically ordered a 2-inch receiver hitch to be installed on the vehicle. When I went to pick up the car, I was surprised to discover that the and specifically ordered a 2-inch receiver hitch to be installed on the vehicle. When I went to pick up the car, I was surprised to discover that they actually installed a hitch that was 1-1/4 inches, rather than the 2-inch receiver I had requested. The salesman was remarkably insistent about the hitch being a mere two inches in size; however, it was clear he was simply repeating information that had been directly relayed to him by the service department, which turned out to be completely wrong. When I reached out to them with a request to correct the issue or obtain a refund, the general manager, Adam Luneau, proved to be quite unhelpful and frankly quite rude towards me at the end of the conversation. He suggested that I could report the problem to any organization of my choosing before abruptly hanging up the phone. I also inquired about receiving an invoice for the hitch itself, and it turned out that I had been overcharged for the wiring harness, which is actually included with the hitch at no additional cost. I confirmed this by looking at the Toyota parts website. I would strongly advise you to avoid dealing with Handy Toyota altogether, and I highly recommend actually reading through the one-star reviews. It appears that a significant number of customers have actually reported instances of unprofessionalism and poor customer service following their purchase. More

I had my Venza in service for an oil change and 2 recalls. As usual, when I arrived I was greeted promptly and respectfully. The service was performed in a timely manner for the quoted cost. I chose Handy because they offered me a rental car for the day, but when I arrived I was told that wasn't available. I did eventually get a car once someone returned. I dismissed an experience as I was checking in of a disgruntled lady, the service clerk literally refused to work with her so she had to go talk to someone else. But then I witnessed another woman in the afternoon clearly upset and the service clerk arguing with her, and I haven't shared my experience yet. I was quoted $300 for an AC issue on a 2022 Toyota that I purchased new. It turns out there is a "known design flaw" and my quote went up to over 2k. Toyota has issued mechanical guidance and a new part, but it is only covered under extended warranty. I found this really confusing, but when I asked for explanation, the service manager grew increasingly impatient with me. He went from saying he had never heard of the issue to saying they see it all the time and there's nothing they can do. So after waiting all day, still being charged hundreds of dollars just to tell me they can't fix my car without another 2k, I left in tears. If you're keeping track, that's 3 people who clearly left unsatisfied, and one service department that seems to thrive on creating conflict. I'm extremely disappointed that a design flaw popular enough to have its own reddit thread is still being considered a for profit repair by the dealership. The way the sales manager treated me was unnecessary, unkind, and unbecoming.I have purchased Toyotas and had them serviced at this dealership as well as another, and it's safe to say Handy's has lost my business, and hopefully readers of this review will strongly consider going elsewhere.
