A Family Owned Dealership Made All The Difference I purchased a pickup truck from Harbro a few months ago, and have high praise for the experience. I was satisfied with the sale price, and happy with the quality of the vehicle, but I was especially happy with the way I was treated throughout the sales, finance and delivery process. It was a much different experience than previous ones I have had, when buying from large dealerships. Unfortunately, I registered the vehicle in my home state of Pennsylvania, who's restrictive laws and guidelines made this a much longer transaction than any of us would have wanted. That said, the Harbro staff - most especially finance manager Mike Hare - were extremely diligent in regard to the paperwork, and patient with me throughout. Mike, in particular, is very friendly and reasonable, and takes the necessary time to explain all the important particulars of your purchase - details that other dealerships try to just blow past. He also worked hard to get me an additional loan approval, when it turned out that I needed one. Ultimately, the fact that they are a family owned dealership is what sets them apart. The situation with my truck could have been a nightmare, and would likely have been shoved to the backburner at a large dealership. Instead, Harbro made my problems, their problems. In the 25 years that I've been purchasing vehicles, I've never had a better experience. More

Transaction experience however had several hiccups along the way and there was some miscommunication regarding the registration and a matter concerning a broken headrest. Terrible experience with UMASSFIVE FCU, the bank this dealership prefers to finance through. Experience with dealership was not completely terrible, but sales employee seemed more interested in getting a good review rather than ensuring satisfaction - which sort of goes hand in hand. Again, not a terrible dealership, but this experience left me considering looking elsewhere in the future. More
