I was looking for a cetified use car and I live in the same town in which Harbro Auto sales was located in,I have checked out many other dealerships prior to going to Harbro, the other dealerships where v same town in which Harbro Auto sales was located in,I have checked out many other dealerships prior to going to Harbro, the other dealerships where very aggresive and the salesmen where out to try to sell you a car no matter what it took, I had enough, stopped in at Harbro ,I met Dave Malo, a car sales associate, he was very pleasent and informative about the car I was interested in,it was a pleasure to deal with him.I purchased a great quality car from him.I brought my auto in to be worked on and I needed a rental,Heather Goodwin was great, she got me my rental and I was very happy, the servce department was fantastic. they where very knowledgeable, friendly and most important they fixed my car right the first time,thumbs up to the service dept.!My total experience with Harbro Auto and Service was a great one, I would recommend this dealership to everyone. thank you Brian Johnson (A new lifetime customer) More

It was my first time working with Harbro but it was highly recommended by my mentor and dear friend. From the first visit I immediately felt comfortable with the staff. Both Mike and Dave were wicked friendly and patient with me knowing it was my first car and it was a big decision to make. I felt really worried that car shopping meant meeting really pushy sales men who forced you into getting something you didn't need and later regretted, thankfully Harbro wasn't that way at all. I test drove a few cars, slept on my thoughts, test drove a few more, took a week and made up my decision. I knew I was in between two great cars and Mike helped me make my decision easier by holding onto one car I had in mind for a week for me and brought in two other cars that I had mentioned to him. At Harbro it was not as much about the sale as it was about the buyer. Mike didn't force a car on me and it didn't matter who got the sale, I would go in and meet with any one of the sales team who happened to be available and kind enough to help. Both Dave and Mike chatted with me long past the sale of the vehicle and I can honestly say I have very little stress for such a big purchase. Mike talked me through my credit, how my loans would work and what my lowest and most cost efficient options were. Hes a great salesman and an honest person and that is hard to find in that industry. I brought my new car (purchased elsewhere) in for its first oil change, based on a sign advertising $14.95 new customer special. Since my car requires synthetic oil, Eddie was very thorough about explaining the cost difference but also explaining the differences between synthetic and conventional oils. They were out of syn. oil, and had to call CAP to deliver some, and I was very impressed at the speed with which that happened. Everyone there was super friendly and greeted me individually. More
I had an issue where as my father passed away this week and I needed to have front pads and rotors installed. With the craziness and mindset of the week, I couldnt repair myself and the pads were now meta and I needed to have front pads and rotors installed. Friday around 9:30 AM I arrived at Harbro Linwood and met an amazing person in Andrea Cutting. I explained my situation and told her I knew it would be tough but could she squeeze me in, while I wait. Two minutes later she said she would have my car in next. We chatted, while the work was done and it was very comforting to take my mind off of everything that was going on. The cost was 1 hour which was $88. Thats pricy to toss pads and a rotor on but it is the going labor cost, thats why I put OK on price. Better yet they took care of me and helped me in a situation most would not. Thank you Harbro, as always an amazing business with such amazing people, Such as Andrea. keep up the great work!!! More
I was recently having issues with a vehicle I had Harbro I was recently having issues with a vehicle I had Harbro purchase for me threw Auction (Not something they normally do for customers) I knew the I was recently having issues with a vehicle I had Harbro purchase for me threw Auction (Not something they normally do for customers) I knew the vehicle would have some issues based on the year and mileage on it, but decided to take a chance. It was making an annoying squealing noise when accelerating and I decided to take it to the shop to have it looked at. The service team was able to identify all the issues with the vehicle (Mostly Factory Recalls and Service Notices for this particular year) It required a new clutch a new throttle body and slave cylinder. Not cheap labor or parts to obtain (trust me I looked it up) But the team at HARBRO really went above and beyond making these fixes top priority and did not charge me a dime. They really stand by their sales and service. They did amazing work and in a really timely manner. Everyone from the office to the garage was very kind and helpful and involved me in every step of the process. The mechanics walked me threw all my issues and even showed me what was wrong. (Something most will not due) The Harbro team has the greatest integrity I have ever witnessed. They stand behind their people and products. I will not go anywhere else for service again. After an amazing experience purchasing a vehicle for my girlfriend at HARBRO I reached out to Chris Sargent a I do not even know where to begin.... After an amazing experience purchasing a vehicle for my girlfriend at HARBRO I reached out to Chris Sargent and tell him how I always wanted to own a Jeep Wrangler. Only issue was at the moment HARBRO did not have one. Chris promised me that he would help me look everywhere possible to make my dream come true. After only a week or two I received a Call and Chris had found me one at a Dealer Auction. These things are risky, I know but I told them to jump on the Jeep and let's make a deal. They purchased the Jeep and worked out a great price for me. They made my payments exactly where I wanted them (Chris is a master at crunching numbers) No one was happier than I was at that time. They really went above and beyond going on a hunt for my dream Jeep. After a few weeks I found that the previous owner had made many modifications to the vehicle, and not really taken care of it that well mechanically. I had to drop it off for a new clutch and a few other small fixes. I held no ill will towards Harbro , we all knew it was a shot in the dark and a risk, but they helped me take this risk to for fill my dream. I was never charged one cent for the attempted repairs and labor. Not once. After spending so much time there I started to feel like a member of the family, I am currently on a first name basis with almost everyone who works there. Not once did the team show any frustration with trying to help me fix this Jeep They encouraged me to visit and continue to bring in the vehicle as more problems arose. Finally today Chris Sargent contacted me and told me he had great news... A 2008 Jeep Wrangler X has traded in to them and he wanted to take my problem Jeep and trade it in for the new Jeep. I was not dreaming Chris worked with me to keep my payments exactly the same and get me in a Jeep one year newer and with 45,000 miles less on it. It even came with a Hard Top and a Soft Top! In what universe does this happen? I quickly realized this is what HARBRO does. They help everyone as if they are family. I have never dealt with a business that buts the needs of others before themselves. Every member of the HARBRO team has the greatest Integrity and the largest hearts I have ever seen. I understand that my story is a one in a million shot, but to be honest with you I can promise this would not have been possible without the team at Harbro. Chris Sargent and the rest of the HARBRO team I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Each one of you have honestly changed my life. I am eternally greatful -John Elliott- More
Overall sales experience good except for having to wait a month for title of car we were buying. Price of car when we eventually signed the paperwork was higher than originally quoted.
