I came in with "check headlight" light on the board. Paid diagnostics, paid for parts and laber to repair the diagnosed problem. Total came to over $400. Got in my car (still in their parking lot), the same light still on. How did this happen????? What kind of service was done, if any to my car? Came back in, asked for my money back, so I could go to another dealership, diagnose the problem correctly and get it fixed. No can do Chip said :) we do not refund our customers. Now I'm left with the same dashboard light on, but short $400. Very dissapointing visit, as far as I know, my car could have been sitting in their garage and nobody even worked on it. There was no result. More
I have been using Hartford Toyota for a number of years now. I find them friendly towards me and very fair as far as pricing goes. Primarily, I have performed my own work on my vehicle but I recently had my 2001 Toyota Tundra frame replaced under the Corrosion Warranty Program. From the moment I was introduce to Shannon LaFontaine (Service Advisor), she provided what I considered "over-the top" customer service and support. She was a real joy to work with and was more than willing to work with me regarding additional work I needed to have done while the truck was being overhauled. She provided me with updates and progress from the begining of the process to the end and always had a pleasent disposition. Runyon Lewis was the Service Tech who performed the frame replacement. Runyon is top notch, talented and performed the work flawlessly. He also was very willing to let me be "part of the process" and treated my vehicle like it was his own. When he found other things that might require replacement, we discussed the issue together and I was able to make an informed decision. Further to this, Omar Soto and Dave in the Parts department were instumental in helping me obtain the additional parts I needed in the time frame I required. The guys in the Parts Dept know their stuff and are always willing to help. Overall, a great expereince ... ask for Shannon as your Service Advisor and Runyon as your Service Tech .. If you need parts, talk to Omar .. you can't ask for a better team of people to service your vehicle More
I am writing to praise Shannon LaFontaine for her help regarding a cracked touch screen on our 2008 Prius. She has been very personable and went beyond what I consider to be the “call of duty” to assure regarding a cracked touch screen on our 2008 Prius. She has been very personable and went beyond what I consider to be the “call of duty” to assure that our problem would be corrected and that the platinum warranty would cover the repair as well as a loaned vehicle from Hartford Toyota. Her persistence saved us thousands of dollars. She also kept us well informed as to the status of the repair and at all times behaved in a very professional manner. As a result, all of our future business, including new tires to be installed on January 23rd, will be directed to Hartford Toyota.
