We worked out most of the details (price and features) ahead of time and visited the dealership to finalize the deal. It helped that we knew exactly what we wanted and the dealership had it in stock. This is our first vehicle with Hassett and our first Subaru and hopefully not our last. Being that we purchased a 2015 Ford Transit Wagon last summer and had a similar experience, it was a "no-brainer" to return to Hassett Ford for this lease. We had the vehicle within three days and don't have to worry ab out a used car breaking down out of state. Buying a car should leave you feeling victimized! Our salesman was abusive, controlling, and nasty. He insisted that after the car was delivered, because the dealership was too busy the day of delivery, we must come back and listen to his additional sales pitch. He did not fax over my window sticker and bill of sale to my insurance company as promised, simply out of spite. Nor did he provide the window sticker to me so I could send to insurance! Even 3 months later, when asked for the fax confirmation, he hung up on me! I have bought 3 Outbacks and took my sister to buy her first Subaru at Hassett. Not to mention 9 years of using their service department for all the service requirements. Due to this miserable experience, I will not return! More
