From the initial reminder I received on my screen of my new Rav4, to the ease of scheduling my 1st scheduled maintenance, coupled with simply hitting the touch screen to make the call to the Hatch Toyota Service Center in Show Low, it was effortless. It took just a day to get me scheduled, in which Eric Erskine (Service Manager) called me as a reminder of the scheduled appointment.
The beauty of it all was that I easily was able to get a 1PM appointment, making it very convenient around much lunch break.
Eric was expecting me, and politely greeted me as I entered the service center. He explained things, and I sat down to catch up on my emails. After just 5 minutes, my salesman (Joe Hessinger), whom I had not seen since November 2014 when I purchased the car came over the greet me.
My experience with Eric & Joe was proof that "Buying Local" was the right thing to do. I work for Cellular One in Show Low, and that is our company's belief "Buy Local", whenever possible.
After speaking with Joe for a few minutes, I went back to catching up on my emails in a very nicely appointed waiting area. I barely got through all of my emails, when Eric walked over to me to let me know my car was ready. He thoroughly reviewed everything that was done on my car, spelled it out very clearly, explained how the synthetic oil did not yet need changing, walked me though when it would need changing, etc.
When I asked him where I needed to pay, he said "No Charge - It's part of your 2 Year Toyota Care plan."
What a relief!
The Parts Department was great too, as they answered some of my detailed questions while I waited.
