Of all the vehicles I have purchased over the years, this Cayenne purchase took the least amount of time and effort. Would definitely put this experience at the top of my positive vehicle purchase list. More

Buyer Beware - Do not trust Hennessy Porsche **UPDATE** Due to extremely poor customer service from Hennessy Porsche, we filed a complaint with the BBB. Hennessy is not pleased with these reviews **UPDATE** Due to extremely poor customer service from Hennessy Porsche, we filed a complaint with the BBB. Hennessy is not pleased with these reviews, so I feel like I need to update to make sure I clarify what has happened in the weeks since delivery. I was contacted privately by the GM on another customer review website and he told us that somehow we should have known that at the price they sold the Macan for, it would not be reconditioned. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard from a car dealership. If you're set on buying a Porsche, it is unclear that CPO has any real meaning and so you'd be wise to shop elsewhere. We purchased a CPO 2015 Macan S from this dealership on 7/10/2020. I have waited to write this review to see if possibly we could come to some sort of agreement, or if PCNA might could help, but none of this has come to fruition. This is our first Porsche purchase, and we were in the process of purchasing a Macan from an independent dealership before deciding to go with one that was Certified. Everything we read indicated that Porsche CPO standards are some of the highest in the business and their warranty is one of the strongest in the industry as well - apparently, as we read and were assured by the dealership, as good as the new car warranties. The CPO Macan was about $2,000 more than the non-CPO we already had a deal on and had a few less features (such as no Bose audio), but we figured that Porsche standards would easily make up for those things. Not so much. Our Macan had 39,6XX miles on it the night we took delivery. It was delivered to us with delaminating/flaking interior trim material on the shift knob and the e-brake switch. It also has a cracked/warped (apparently from heat) exterior door B-pillar trim and all of the exterior aluminum/chrome trim around the windows is completely oxidized. We noticed the oxidation on the outside moldings at delivery, but we have owned 5 Mercedes cars in the past and never have experienced that sort of thing happening, so we assumed it needed polishing. Nope. It's just ruined. None of this was a big deal, we thought. The Porsche CPO warranty - to quote their website - "Porsche Cars North America will repair or replace with a new or remanufactured part any factory-installed part that is faulty in material workmanship under normal use." Clearly cracking trim, flaking trim, oxidizing trim on a Porsche with less than 40,000 miles is faulty material workmanship. Right? Wrong. They have refused to repair this, citing the exclusion of "normal wear/tear". So apparently this sort of thing is normal for Porsche. This is news to us. No one at the dealership or at PCNA so far has been able to explain to us what "normal" means to Porsche. So we aren't even sure CPO was worth the premium.. seems like everything could be denied as "normal". Since noticing these issues, we have noticed leather stitching on one of the rear doors is coming apart. Haven't even brought this to the dealer's attention because we are sure it will yet again be "normal". We have a case open with PCNA, but so far they have told us it was up to the dealer to properly recondition the car. The dealership themselves asked us to open the case with PCNA as these things "would have been covered" under the original warranty. Both point fingers at each other, no resolution for us. To sum it up, here are my recommendations - I would not use Hennessy Porsche North Atlanta because they don't properly recondition the cars and once you take delivery, CPO or not, it's on you. Second, CPO is likely not worth the added cost. It might cover big items that happen to us in the future, but it will not cover small things - even ones that are clearly, 100% absolutely due to defective materials. Lastly, in case there is any doubt about what these materials defects will cost to recondition on our own - a shift knob is about $700 for the part, window trim more like $2000. B-pillar cracked can probably be done by us for under $100. So I am not writing this review over a few dollars out of pocket that we might need to spend. It's significant. **UPDATE** Hennessy Porsche is happy to provide lip service and to pretend that they will do right, but do not trust them. If you choose to purchase a pre-owned Porsche vehicle from them, make sure you go over it with a magnifying glass prior to delivery. More

Bad Start but Strong Finish. Tragic start, but Hennessy Porsche was able to redeem themselves at the end. I bought a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S over the internet for the first tim Tragic start, but Hennessy Porsche was able to redeem themselves at the end. I bought a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S over the internet for the first time in Mid May of 15th this year. The car arrived to Texas by enclosed trailer on May 23rd, 2020. As I did a walkaround of the car I saw that there was a scratch on the front spoiler. I texted the salesperson Scott Hamilton. His response, "Glad to see it got there in one piece!. Yes, that bit of rash was there before driver picked up. That can be sanded down easy to remove. I didn;t notice that in time to do myself." Is that suppose to be the response when a NEW car is shipped to you? Okay, my thoughts is that it will have to be replaced, looked up the part number and it was around $154 dollar part that should be a easy fix. I then asked if there was a complimentary gift that is offered when buying a new car and once again Scott Hamiliton's response, "Us paying for your enclosed shipping was your gift from us." Okay, noted (I paid for my 991 that was being shipped out of pocket and agreed to pay for the shipping of the new car out of pocket) then a few days later I saw that the passenger side rear tire had a knot on the sidewall and when I brought it up to Scott his response was, "Did you purchase our tire warranty?" I responded, "No, I did not purchase it, because I do not need it for a new car. I have owned other 911s and the only time I replaced the tires is when the tread were worn." So, I went ahead and purchased a new tire, because it is unsafe to drive a car with a knot in the sidewall. Then about a day later the touch screen controls in the center console was going haywire and by haywire I meant the AC, Defroster (Front and Rear), and the Forward and Back audio controls were all being activated without any human interaction. I addressed this issue to Scott Hamilton and he stated, "Please send me a video." Once I sent the video his response was, "Due to the quality of the video I cannot see what is really going on." I replied, "The Video is in 4K would you like me to e-mail you the video?" His response to this whole experience was, "Our Technicians complete a thorough inspection before the car was shipped and they found nothing wrong." About two days later the survey link was provided with my e-mail I have never been the one to write a Review when angry or upset so I reached out to the Customer Experience Manager Laimarie Serrano. I expressed my concerns and all the issues I had with owning this Porsche for less than a week and the short responses that were coming from Scott Hamilton. As evidence I sent a screenshot of every text and response with Scott Hamilton. I also explained I have been to many different Porsche Dealerships and have never had a bad customer experience. From California all the way to Florida when purchasing my vehicles they have been smooth from start to end. "What can we do to make this right?" Laimarie asked if I can get the car serviced and send the Summary to her. So I took my car to Park Place Porsche here in Dallas. 1. Upon the removal of the front spoiler we saw that it had been scrapped in multiple areas underneath it and the one that was highly visibile was actually a curb rub. (Out of pocket paid) 2. The knot on the side wall may have been a defect in the tire there was not evidence of tire trauma such as a hard impact that would have warranted it. (Out of pocket paid) 3. They tried to reset the computer to see if it would solve the issue, but ultimately they had to order the New part. (Warranty Covered) I kept the Front Spoiler and Tire as evidence if they wanted me to ship it to their location so that their Techs could inspect it for themselves. After providing the work order Summaries to Laimarie. She apologized for the experience that I was having with Hennessy Porsche and relayed my evidence and receipts to those that make it happen (General Manager and Finance Office personnel). I was able to be reimbursed for the out of pocket expenses. The fact she maintained contact with me throughout the whole process such as requesting a status update if I have received any letters or payments from Hennessy Porsche showed me that the dealership does care about customer service being important. I am giving this a high rating, because at the end of the day just because it started off bad does not mean it will necessary end just as bad. When initially purchasing the vehicle through Scott Hamilton everything was smooth and the paperwork was sent and processed expeditiously and my new car arrived sooner than expected. (However, next time I will be doing an in-person walk around before the car is loaded onto the trailer before it is delivered). More
