Who’s in for three things regular service call I had a light on on the dashboard and I needed the cover to my gas cap. Additionally when I pulled out I see the same stupid light on the dashboard so I guess that’s one out of three not too good. Very deceptive and negligent waste of time, at least for selling a car to them. They messaged me saying they were interested in my used car, but made it seem like they were a private buyer. I told them I selling a car to them. They messaged me saying they were interested in my used car, but made it seem like they were a private buyer. I told them I had a current offer from CarMax and asked if they could beat it. They told me to come over so they could look at the car. Once I came in, after fighting traffic to get there, they told me CarMax was a scam and that I would be lucky to get 3/4 of the price CarMax had quoted me, and that even in perfect condition, the trim and model year isn't worth what CarMax had offered me. This is information that could have been found by them without seeing my car in person, and without making me come in and wasting two hours of my workday. They then proceeded to lie and say that CarMax would nickel and dime me on every ding and the offer I had in hand wasn't the amount I would actually receive. I went to carmax after that and was in and out with a check in 30 minutes for the quoted amount. More
