The long and short of my review is that you should avoid Herb Chambers as much as possible. The communication was horrible, they tried to get me to do several thousand dollars worth of services I didn't nee Herb Chambers as much as possible. The communication was horrible, they tried to get me to do several thousand dollars worth of services I didn't need, and every step except payment took way longer than necessary. I ended up going to a different dealership that just wasn't as conveniently located and having a much better experience. I came in with a problem the dealership said would take only a few hours to fix and cost under $100 due to warranties. The man who helped me, Higor, was very calm and clear in an otherwise chaotic office. However, after a couple hours I received a link requesting $4000 worth of additional and "urgent" services and saying the original fix would take several days due to a part being out of stock. I called and talked directly to the parts department to understand my options, who told me there was a different brand of the part in stock that would work just fine. So, I told the service department to use that and they said in that case the fix could be done in an hour instead of days. Basically, I had to do a part of their job for them. Then I didn't know they finished until it was too late for me to come get the car before closing, so I had to wait two days since this was Saturday and they're closed on Sunday. When I went to get my car, the paperwork and payment was quick and I was told they'd bring my car around in a few minutes. However, I ended up sitting and waiting for 45 minutes until they brought it around. Then, in a matter of hours, the problems came back. So, I went to a different dealership and they said there was a slightly different problem than anything Herb Chambers identified and that they could fix in a few days. They did this for under $100 and told me there were no other additional services needed. The car has worked perfectly since then. More
