I called the dealership immediately and they walked me through using the mechanism located under the small panel next to the gear shift. BTW, the fact that you need to use an actual key to push into the space when all Honda provides these days is electronic key needs to be more thoughtful. Still the car couldn’t move from drive or neutral into park or reverse. So I drove it to the dealership where they took car of it immediately at 5:00 in the evening. If they hadn’t been open, I don’t know what I would have done because the car couldn’t be put in park. Perhaps turning it off and using the emergency break might have worked, but I didn’t get to that point. More
