We've owned about 10 Hondas, always get them at Herb Chambers Honda Seekonk! I would recommend them to anyone (and often do)... And after the sale, the Service Department is next to none. We already knew what model we wanted, still they took their time to show the car, explain the features and once we agreed on the price located one for us, also they were the only dealer that mentioned special AHFC financing (2.9% at the time). The only reason I did not make my final purchase here is because the timing just didn't work out. When I made my final vehicle decision, Fred and Theresa were quick to keep their searches open and fill me because the timing just didn't work out. Unfortunately, the vehicle popped up somewhere else with very low miles and for the right price so I had to jump on that deal. Theresa showed me about 4-5 different vehicles and we took 3 for a test drive on a very cold and windy day. She was very pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this dealership to family and friends that were searching for a vehicle and would return in the future when the time comes for another car. More
One experience does not typically paint a dealership a certain color but this experience told me a lot about Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk. Had bought a used Civic and had the 30K done here which include certain color but this experience told me a lot about Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk. Had bought a used Civic and had the 30K done here which included inspection of the brake pads among a myriad of services. At the time, Victor (service rep) and others were friendly and accomodating. 6 weeks later and a couple hundred miles later, took the car in for another reason and to my astonishment was told that the brake pads in front were 95% worn. No acknowledgement by Victor until I brought it up that this was unusual since the car just had a full service. Spoke to service manager who essentially admitted they had not checked the brakes but was more concerned about what this meant for the specific mechanic than for the customer. They agreed to do brakes at no charge and ensure that other services during 30K check were not missed. However, this was only the beginning. Went to pick up car and everyone from service had left but glove compartment hinges were not put back in place after they had checked a filter. In addition, a wrench was left behind on the driver seat. And this was after I had spent a good deal of time on phone with service manager. Called them after returning from trip to have glove compartment repaired and they told me "to call back when the people I had dealt with previously were there" and that "I would have to wait for the mechanic that worked on my car to be back" before they could address this problem. U might think the GM might know that such a blatant error had occurred in his service dept but you would be wrong. Went in to speak to him and he was very attentive but implied that someone moving the car must have left the wrench in the car and that it could not have been his mechanics. He attemped to place much of the blame on one of his employees who I had only really interacted with briefly over the phone. Seems that the higher you go up the ladder in this dealership, the more shameful it becomes. More
I have done business with Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk, MA. for over 10 years. In all those years, and with my current sale, I have found their management, sales staff, and service department to be at the MA. for over 10 years. In all those years, and with my current sale, I have found their management, sales staff, and service department to be at the highest level and of the finest quality. They are customer oriented, courteous, friendly and competent. In fact, my salesman, David High, makes it a point to be in the service department when I have scheduled maintenance just to say hello or review any concerns I may have. To me, that is above and beyond the norm. Also, he keeps in touch several times during the year with special offers, felicitations on birthdays and holidays,etc. He is definitely a "people person" who enjoys his customers and his job. When I am at their business establishment, whether for maintenance or a sale they make me feel "at home" and welcome. It's obvious that their attitude is fostered by example from the General Manager through to each person working there. That is why I continue to return to them when I need a new auto and why I would heartily recommend them to a potential buyer. More

In August of 1992, the first weekend the dealership opened, my husband and I purchased our first Honda Accord. Since then, we have purchased six other Honda's (4 Accords, 1 Civic and 1 Pilot.) We opened, my husband and I purchased our first Honda Accord. Since then, we have purchased six other Honda's (4 Accords, 1 Civic and 1 Pilot.) We have had all of our service performed at this dealership from day one. The service staff has always been courteous and knowledgeable. If we had any issues Peter Slota or the prior service managers always followed thru to resolve them quickly. Sales Manager, Scott Birtles, has and continues to recognize us as a repeat customer and has made each sales experience an enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I was familiar with the dealership but had not shopped there. We decided to give it a try and were introduced to Jose in Sales as soon as we came through the door. He listened to what we wanted and then there. We decided to give it a try and were introduced to Jose in Sales as soon as we came through the door. He listened to what we wanted and then led us to exactly what we had described. We decided to negotiate a sale with him and were pleasantly surprised by his easy going approach. He provided info when we asked and left us alone when we wanted to speak privately. We came to terms in a very short time and my wife and I walked away feeling that we had gotten a fair deal. We picked up the car, clean and prepped, the next evening. Jose was not available that day but they had Dave give us the training session. He was great. We finished off with the finance person (unfortunately I have forgotten his name) and were again impressed with the combination of professionalism and friemndliness we encountered. All in all, a much better than expected experience. I will recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk without hesitation. More
