JIMMY spent a lot of time moving vehicles, searching for the perfect one that would meet our needs, despite the fact that it was over 90 degrees. He repeatedly got us water and made sure we were comfortable while he hustled in the heat. We had him working double duty because we were not only looking for a vehicle for ourselves, but our daughter was with us looking also. He simultaneously worked with all of us to make sure we were all getting what we wanted. The end result – a 2013 Toyota Venza for us and a 2013 Toyota Camry for our daughter – we couldn’t be happier! We chose to lease (something we haven’t done before) and JIMMY put us at ease and answered all of our questions. JIMMY ELDEAN is a true professional and an absolute gentleman. What fabulous customer service this dealership has. Everyone we came in contact with spoke to us as a friend and made our experience a pleasant one. I had a great experience at the Auburn dealership. Marque Hoenig was very helpful to show me the cars in my price range and was very accommodating. There was no pressure for me to make a decision, but once I did Marque worked to get all the paper work done quickly. A few days later when I went to pick up my new car Marque worked to makes sure it was ready as quickly as possible, even putting the plates on himself. I would highly recommend Marque Hoenig as a car salesmen. More
Miguel Cepeda was great to work with! I actually came back to this dealership after researching other dealerships. They really worked with me in acquiring the price I could afford and did beat the compet back to this dealership after researching other dealerships. **This excellent adventure started with a phone call from Samantha. No sooner had I place my "yes call me" request in KellyBK, then Samantha was kind enough to call. She was encouraging to come to the showroom, explained several very interesting choices. Nothing urgent, or demanding, rather conversational and informative. When I entered the dealership I met Jimmy(really met him outside). He listened to what I wanted(which model I wasn't sure). After conferring with his manager Dylan, and talking to me further, I drove a 2012 Corolla and 2012 Camry. Both fit my needs, they had other cars available, but these 2 were perfect. **As we started the discussion for the "deal" nothing was pressured. Conversationally, they asked me what would allow me (not make me) purchase a car today. After choosing the Corolla, we investigated the finance end and reached an amicable price. Jimmy & Dylan were comfortable to talk to, explained everything in great detail and answered all of my questions. As they came an went for the desk area, I struck up a conversation with another lady purchasing a car. She works at a dealership and got a better deal at Herb Chambers Auburn, than from her employer. **I was hesitant to shop for a car on my own, but after seeking the advice of a friend(who also purchased here) I felt confident that I would be treated with respect and consideration, and I was. I did some research as to potential value of my trade in before I went, and researched the dealer inventory. I thought I would "just look" , but with the deal Jimmy & Dylan offered, I couldn't say no. Best of all was the respectful, uncomplicated atmosphere as we discussed the numbers. **When I returned later in the day to pick up the car, Christopher (the paper work/numbers guy) was equally accommodating. Each piece of paper was explained, as many times as I needed, to fully understand the process step by step. Every time a "number" appeared, Chris explained where it came from, what it represented. He answered all questions right to the point, and if needed more than once. Never did he make me feel incompetent. His unhurried, respectful manner went a long way in getting through all of the forms needed to finalize the purchase of my car. **I now am the proud owner of a Corolla. A car my mechanic says if everyone owned(a Corolla) he would be out of business. Driving it makes me feel safe, line of vision is wonderful, the dashboard can be understood at a glance and the car is a dream come true. **I would definitely encourage everyone to go to Herb Chambers Toyota Scion of Auburn when you are looking for a car. Granted I knew I needed a newer car, but even those just "looking" will find this a great place to do research. More

I just purchased a new 2013 Toyota Rav4. Overall, I had a good experience with Herb Chambers in Auburn-- once I was able to talk to Daniel Bortolussi. I spoke to three different sales managers: Mike Demers ( good experience with Herb Chambers in Auburn-- once I was able to talk to Daniel Bortolussi. I spoke to three different sales managers: Mike Demers (in person), Dylan Hoang (in person) and "Bob" (on the phone). Everyone had something different to say about what they could offer for a price on my trade-in. After receiving quotes from eight different dealers and visiting four of them in person (including this dealership), I called Mike Demers back to re-negotiate the price on my trade-in. He said he would talk to a manager and get back to me within 30 minutes. That never happened so after three hours I called the dealership and got someone named "Bob" who agreed to my new offer and told me to come in and ask for Dylan. To put it mildly, when I got there I got the run-around from Mike and Dylan who claimed "Bob" "wasn't authorized to make that deal" and they would not honor it. (If you are an experienced car buyer, you know this is the number one line everyone pulls.) When my conversations with them went nowhere, I asked to talk to the Executive General Manager, Dan Bortolussi, so I could put in a complaint on my way out the door. I planned to head back to a different dealership, but I found Dan to be honest, fair, and straightforward. He was great to work with and I ended up buying my vehicle after speaking with him. From there, my experience was wonderful. Thomas Gulo (Sales and Internet Manager), Shawn Merrick (Finance Director) and Renel Plymouthe (Sales Manager) were all a pleasure to work with. Thomas Gulo was especially helpful and patient with me. In the end, I got a great price on my car and an average price on my trade-in. My suggestion: don't take any offers from the salespeople as reliable until you hear it from Dan himself. They do not communicate with each other and make offers that do not hold up. If you can speak to Dan, you will be all set! More

He provided us with the price which was the best one from 3 Toyota dealers. John was very polite and respectful of our time. We were able to dictate when we would pick up the car and this was the fastest pick up of a new car that I have experienced. Renel was very informative about all of the paperwork that was needed and explained why each paper was necessary. He did not attempt to sell us any extras or pressure us after we informed him that we were not interested and he was wasting his time. The sales manager we talked to was also very polite and helpful (sorry, I don't remember his name) and gave us a good price on our trade in car. It is obvious that this Toyota dealership educates all of their employees in customer service principles and rewards them for their customer service. Dedication to excellent customer service demonstrates that this company is well managed and wants to continue to stay ahead of their competition. John embraces the customer service principles he has been educated in and should have a long and bright future within the Herb Chambers company. More
