I always get great service at Herb Chambers, especially from Martin Dodd. He is spot on when it comes to getting me an appointment on my schedule. Normally I wouldn’t leave a bad review but I feel like this warrants it. First off I will state that I should have had my car towed to a different garage after I found out it wasn’t going to be covered un this warrants it. First off I will state that I should have had my car towed to a different garage after I found out it wasn’t going to be covered under warranty but I didn’t and that’s that. Also let me say this is my 6th Toyota leased in a 8 year period (loyal Toyota customer). I just received my bill for a knock sensor the $110 part and about $1250 in labor (after a 10% discount). They claim that they worked on this fix for 8hrs at about $150. They did not rebuild my engine, they only replaced a knock sensor. Look it up for yourself or ask around, it’s not a 8 hour job. Basically the charged me about $600 per hour I’d guess since it most likely only took 2 hours. 2 side notes: First - I believe management is the problem not the staff that you will see face to face. Second - don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews they are all short and really with nothing to say more then the most basic stuff, why do you think that is? More

Unexpected expense thought I was coming in for inspection and oil change and nearly one thousand dollars and three hours later I got my car back. I was told I won’t pass inspection on my 4 year old car with and oil change and nearly one thousand dollars and three hours later I got my car back. I was told I won’t pass inspection on my 4 year old car with 31,000 miles on it if the bumper is not repaired... I get that but when I ask for a loaner car for the time my car is being repaired, the service representative flat out told me there was none available. He was unhelpful and unfriendly at best! Worst experience I’ve had with this dealership since I purchased the car in the same place. Thinking of looking for other better service from other dealerships for the first time since purchasing this vehicle. More
