Best and most hassle-free car buying experience! I would actually give the experience a higher rating, if that was possible, but unfortunately it isn't. Nevertheless, last Saturday I set off on a mis I would actually give the experience a higher rating, if that was possible, but unfortunately it isn't. Nevertheless, last Saturday I set off on a mission to buy my dream truck but it was not going to be easy due to negative equity. Naturally I went to where I purchased my vehicle last year and after 6-7 hours it seemed as if they weren't in the mood to truly help me. I then went to another dealership for additional information and they told me it would be a long shot. That's when I came across Heritage Buick/GMC of Rockwall and inquired online. I made my intentions clear up front and was messaged back by Shawn from their internet department. He took the time to understand my previous bad experiences, my stipulations, and basically went to work on crafting a deal that would appeal to my needs. Then I was contacted by Nancy from their Finance department who assured me, with confidence, that she could get a deal done, in line with my stipulations, with the help of a credit union. The very next morning she called me up with the excellent news and said that my truck would be waiting for me. We made the 45 minute trip to their dealership and immediately were treated with respect, kindness, and ultimately made to feel like family. We got to talking and signing papers and within about an hours time, we were set to go. I then mentioned wanting to eventually get a spray on bedliner and not only did Shawn set me up an appointment for a great deal with a local business but gave me a hassle free rental until the bedliner was done, which was only from one day to the next. This is my 6th vehicle in a little over 5 years and each and every time it's been difficult, but not impossible, to upgrade. However, each of those other times the experience was like pulling teeth because some of the dealerships, and their employees, seem to only about one thing... money. Not to say that I blame them, but it is the lack of that mentality and motivation that sets Heritage apart from ALL of my car buying experiences... so hassle-free and convenient. As long as they keep people like Shawn, Katy (hope I spelled it correctly), Nancy, and Glenn, I see myself being a lifelong Heritage customer. Again, a special thanks and kudos to Shawn and Nancy for making this happen for our family, we greatly appreciate you all! More

I am a diehard Ford guy and never thought about shopping any other brands. After the frustrations from the Ford dealers I decided to look at Heritage GMC. I have had two other friends buy from Heritage and love them. I met with Shawn Waara (salesman). After telling Shawn what I want he found the truck within minutes. He told me to drive the truck and take my time. As soon I got on I30 and got up to highway speed I fell in love with GMC trucks. From the three Ford Lariat trucks I test drive hands down the GMC is the best. The ride, interior sound, quality of in and outside two thumbs up. Shawn is very knowledgeable and talks straight to you about his vehicles. No double talk and rudeness like others. We negotiated and both of us walked away happy and not beat down. Brad was the Finance guy and again a professional in all aspects. Mechanically if this GMC last I will probably never own another Ford. Heritage GMC is where you need come to with the professionals I dealt with (Shawn Waara and Brad Tittle) to purchase your next vehicle. I will promise you will not be disappointed.
