Our salesperson was awesome so it’s hard not to give a better rating for him alone. However the total experience wasn’t pleasant because we repeatedly asked to see a breakdown of the figures because it wa better rating for him alone. However the total experience wasn’t pleasant because we repeatedly asked to see a breakdown of the figures because it was way off. The dealer was estimating a much hirer payment than what was actual. The dealer couldn’t explain the difference and wouldn’t provide the details until the final signing process. We found this odd and confusing as we have never purchased a vehicle without first seeing a breakdown of the figures. It’s a fair request but they only offer an estimated report that doesn’t explain the math they used for the estimate. The whole buying process was not what we’ve experienced from different dealers. We drove 60 miles to purchase the vehicle and spent nearly the entire day at the dealer. We made an appointment but we’re late because we couldn’t park on the dealer lot because the lot is small and there were so may service appointment customers in their vehicles making it impossible to park in a customer spot. The dealership’s main goal seems to up sell you on unnecessary things. We did get a very good price for the new vehicle and our trade. In the end the figures were precisely what we kept saying they should be. It wasn’t the worst experience but simple improvements should be made like providing an actual breakdown of the true purchase figures so that an informed decision can be made by the customer. Surely we couldn’t have been the first customers that questioned their estimate which was nearly $50 more than the final actual amount. That’s a big difference. More
