While trying to procure a new Tundra back in the earlier days of the COVID pandemic - I scoured the internet looking high and low for the model / trim level I wanted - all to no avail. With the semiconductor shortage and supply chain woes - along with the supply/demand issues with new and used vehicles - there was nothing. When I'd touch base with some Toyota dealerships - they'd claim I'd have to hand over a $1,000 - $2,000 finder's fee just to buy the truck I wanted.
