Great Experience! Well Worth Driving Six Hours Roundtrip! I decided I wanted a Ford F150, but with so many trim levels and options, wasn't quite sure which one. I live in the Charleston area, and either I couldn't find what I was looking for, or just did not connect with the people I spoke with. Saw Herlong Ford while browsing AutoTrader. Went directly to their website and was impressed with the selection of F150s and the quality of their website. Great pics of their inventory, and actual stickers for their inventory were VERY helpful. I called to speak with someone about availability of inventory and spoke with a young lady named Amber. Very polite and interested in getting me to the right person. That person was Fred Munns. Truly one of most knowledgeable, down to earth people I have conversed with in quite a while. We just clicked. I am a DETAIL person, so I feel like I could easily have worn Fred out. Completely patient with me. I called back several times with more questions, and when told he was with other customers, each time, I received a callback exactly when I was told he would. We made a deal. At closing, I met Meryl Breazeale, the business manager. Same story....patient, attentive, and no pressure at all. My wife and I do not recall being excited about the car-buying process until now. Geat people, great experience. I dealt with Rhett through text and email since I was 70 miles away. He was very helpful by answering my questions and even texting me pictures. I found the truck online and Rhett immediately reached out to me to discuss details of the deal. He was incredibly personable, professional and gave me a sense of trust working with him. I drove 2.5 hrs from Charlotte, NC and the entire staff was welcoming and quick to make sure I was taken care of. The business manager Meryl Breazeale was also incredibly professional and gave me a "home town" welcoming feel. It felt as if I could sit over couple beers with the staff there and relax.
