AC quit and I took in Dodge Ram 1500 to see why. I was sold $1,800 in investigation of the problem and fluid changes (not including transmission fluid). Next day they called and said I needed an eva I was sold $1,800 in investigation of the problem and fluid changes (not including transmission fluid). Next day they called and said I needed an evaporator. . They quoted me $2,850.00 + tax (plus the $1,800.00 that they had completed). I argued the price was too high. They cut $200 on labor then $100 on parts. Still too high. I got the AC repair at an independent shop for $1,350.00 + tax. Too late to stop the $1,800.00 fluid change and investigation. They also told me I needed a new cigarette lighter portal that turned out to be a fuse. Seems they push extra services like COVID disinfectant spray and charge "Rolls Royce" prices. Hollywood Chrysler Jeep is very friendly and nice to work with but it’s been a months and I still don’t have my registration, which I was told that it Would be given at the end of the month on the bright sid with but it’s been a months and I still don’t have my registration, which I was told that it Would be given at the end of the month on the bright side they will provide me with another temp tag….. Sergio is amazon and the progressive guy as well. All in all the dealer is pretty good just need to pay attention to more detail. Like the cleaning, registration, and car services. More
